You can if you tell them it was lost. 😁 Most people also have an old one and but long since retired it only to ne replaced by their multi purpose phone. Then again the camera can't easily be tracked.

It posts like yours that make me try it again, mostly with disappointment. But once again I'll give them another chance to present a decent prime rib and I still don't expect anything like I would get at a land based restaurant considering their increased operating costs lately.

Sorry, but that doesn't happen especially since you use an RFID wallet. We also choose to not have our name on the door display either.

But don't you like to take photo's on the cruise? Having a phone serves a lot of functions.

So there's no seeping under the stars anywhere on the ship? 🤔 Seems like it would be hard to enforce if a person wanted to sit in a lounge chair & dozed off.

We've used that feature on occasion but most times we either send text messages or just call each other.

You don't have to use your phone other than placing an order. (but it does make it more convenient) If you place an order with a waiter they can still locate you using the Medallion. Oh, I forgot, you can track other people that want to be tracked using the phone.

Other than the highlighted portion a cruise card provides the same exact information to Princess. As far a asking for your cabin number, the waiter was only checking to make sure he was billing it to the correct person and not someone standing next to you. It's faster to ask rather than trying to match a face to the screen. During slow periods, they never ask. I have yet to hear of just one reason why a medallion is worse than a cruise card after all this time of being used. If I missed something, please let us know.

I'm just happy that Princess has changed their attitude about their enforcement of the dress code on formal nights. No matter how people decide to dress on formal nights is their business, but it allows everyone to make of it what they want without forcing the issue just to enjoy the better food offered in the dining room.

That's why I probably didn't notice the slower speeds as my day begins between 2-3 AM. 🤩

The only problem is that not everything I want is available to be picked up in person.... but it is faster to do it yourself, if you can, most times. I believe the food that was delivered was always covered anyway.

It's depressing to hear about the lousy internet connection on the Sky. The Enchanted back in March/April was decent but I suppose that with the increase in passengers lately, all the ships in the Caribbean have suffered the same fate. And to beat all, they still have the nerve to advertise "The Best Wi-Fi at Sea". What a joke.

Ordering the prime rib has always been a hit of miss for me. It always looks great but at times has been very disappointing. I'll sample it again next cruise but if it's lousy, it's going back for something else.

As does the cruise card. You can't leave the ship with one or the other although losing either once on shore will just delay you getting back on.

Why thank you Ombud. That info will work for me on our next trip very nicely especially since we don't really want to be forced to use it for an unnecessary tour.

Yes, it's still a nice day to sit on the beach with my tablet & have the waiter bring me a cool drink, while waiting for them to prepare mu lunch.

Both the Medallion and the old style cruise card can be used to access your cabin door but the Medallion is useful for other things as well. Like if you place an order for drink or food while you're out on the deck or at Princess cays, the crew member can locate you from your security picture. (not so with the card) If you want to find your cabin partner while on the ship, the display boards located around the ship (or your Medallion app on your phone) will pin point them for you.

I enjoy almost every Princess menu item but would love to see them present something new for a change.

Especially when their 30 years old but when you get to my age, no one wants to see that.

We always leave early and avoid all the crazy people still eating at the buffet. 😁
