  1. Only if you go at 8 AM in the morning.😁
  2. I agree about the irrating kid problem but you picked the absolutely most crowded time of year for children. This week most of them are home. Thank goodness.
  3. It's not really that great on the Enchanted especially during the day. If you get up at 2 or 3 AM It's almost usable for downloading large files.
  4. Enchanted P. Sorry, I didn't notice which night we had it but it's on tonight's menu again.
  5. We watched Top Gun last night on our cabin TV fed by a hard drive. I know they'll show it later in our cruise on MUTS but I like to have sub titles on my movies which they don't offer.
  6. Some people say around 4 drinks. We've been averging around 11 or 12 without any problem.
  7. We had Ceaser salad in the DR just the other night. btw- Princess is renaming Gigi's on all their ships to Alfredo's.
  8. I use my Roku mostly for watching my own video files from a seperate hard drive or thumb drive. Sometimes my photos and my phone videos. I don't stream content since their internet speed is terrible most of the day. At 4 AM it might approach 2 Mbs but as soon as everyone is awake it drops to 50 Kbs. I'm downloading a 1 hour program from my home DVR right now and it's taken almost 2 hours and still not done.
  9. Enchanted. Yes, the LG TV's do have an HDMI input but I couldn't get the TV to accept the HDMI signal from my Roku unit which has both HDMI and USB outputs. I power the Roku from a separate AC connection either from the outlet behind the TV or an extension cord to the desk. Had I brought my USB cable with me it would have worked fine but I didn't have my USB to USB cable with me. Just feeding the USB input of the TV with a 2tb hard drive is working OK but if I had the Roku working I would have been able to view my photos and videos from my cell phone. At least we have a selection of more current movies to watch.
  10. It should be interesting to see how it all works out. They can't seem to charge the standard drinks correctly now. I can't imagine the incorrect billings when the new package begins. We've had 5 bad charges from one bar in the past 10 days.
  11. What ! They love chocolate chip.
  12. Is there any price (within reason) that would make you not consider going?
  13. After talking to a few of the crew members I quickly learned what I've been doing wrong.🥴 I brought the wrong cable to connect my Roku to the TV. It should have been a USB, not a HDMI cable. I disconnected it from my TV at home and didn't think about switching cables. Anyway, connecting a hard drive directly to the LG TV works just fine once the drive loads all the files and you switch ine input. btw- the movies this cruise have all been replaced with old Christmas movies and kid movies. NOTHING recent. Even Top Gun was only shown on MUTS and not in the cabin.
  14. Correction - I should have typed....there were no signs that I saw.
  15. Scare tactic I guess. There were signs in Ft Lauderdale that I saw. I'll let you know on Thursday.
  16. They must have ran out of bears. When I went through everyone was getting huskies.
  17. Have you heard anything definitive?
  18. It's humorous to think that some people consider OBC as play money. 😄
  19. Just as everything else, all prices are being raised in just about every commodity. People are just accepting a substantial increase without question.
  20. I don't believe anyone so far has been turned away trying to board with bottles- plastic or glass. We just boarded with 3 one liter bottles each in ft Lauderdale and they didn't question it. We'll be doing it again in a few more days.
  21. The extra $10 per person wouldn't break us but it's a more a matter of principle. I just don't want to pay extra for food that should be included. If it means eating sub standard DR food, then so be it..... at least until another cruise line offers something better.
  22. yea, we usually tip extra for speciality restaurants. Now it's a thing of the past.
  23. They'll always be a few people willing to spend the money, thats for sure, but I wonder if it'll be sufficient to keep them in business for the long term?
