  1. My doctor (GP) dresses casually every day and he's doing just fine. I trust him to take my well being as his most important concern, not how he dresses to influence his patients.
  2. That's a new one I haven't seen yet.
  3. Also in the Grenada cruise terminal.
  4. I doubt if anyone uses that feature on the phone. I think they gave the job of developing it to someone who never had to use it on a ship.
  5. Can you imagine what unsuspecting people must say when they first arrive in their cabin on the first day when hundreds of people are checking out the ship.
  6. Most balconies offer privacy unless you're at the railing and people can view you from above. The balconies under the sky walk have no privacy no matter where you sit.
  7. Does anyone need this on a cruise?
  8. We stopped going when they eliminated the BOGO coupon on the first night. Not that it wasn't a decent meal but just not worth the extra charge compared to what we receive in the main DR.
  9. Well that does it. My DH now refuses to wear his tux any more and I can wear my sweat pants to dinner all the time.
  10. I once saw a ceremony on the outside rear desk a few years ago. It got crowded.
  11. From what I saw it looked like almost complete shade especially if you're on one of the upper decks.
  12. No- more like skivvies.
  13. I might not be correct but I'm almost sure there is a toggle switch on the bottom front of the TV. I haven't seen a ship without one yet. It's not obvious.
  14. It's only his prototype at this point and might not work. We'll know in Dec. Hopefully it'll work out and I won't have to squeeze my smaller hand behind the TV any more.
  15. On the newer Enchanted they changed the angle which helped the situation. They must have had a lot of complaints from unsuspecting passengers. We still wouldn't want a cabin in that location as my husband likes to sit on the balcony in the early morning in his under ware.
  16. That's because they were in my cloud. Sorry.
  17. You can see partway into the cabin an night when the cabin lights are on.
  18. I still can't see the need for a universal remote but if it works for you it probably make it faster than fussing around with the toggle switch, Here is the plug in adapter my husband made to plug in the HDMI cable. You could use 1/2 inch pvc but he used some scrap 1/2 inch cpvc since is was a little thinner. Once you insert the cable into the cpvc you can easily push it into the socket and then remove the adapter. Of course he had to paint it. 😄 https://photos.google.com/photo/AF1QipNw27BQJEoKSfAqmGaR4mbGhzxRWiTrssEUL1RL https://photos.google.com/photo/AF1QipPtcVkGOgGH0fUabgmfRniJvj13-T18sIO0QZhp
  19. Thanks but were perfectly content to stay with princess no matter what Tony thinks of the cruise line.
  20. We typically use Park N Go in Fort Lauderdale. If their lot at Eller drive gets filled I think they have an alternate lot that they use for overflow. They have a free shuttle that's included and is quick and easy. The shuttle runs on disembarkation day continuously right to your car in the lot and worth the savings.
  21. That sounds like they've modified the sets to keep people out. Try first switching the TV to a news channel before using the toggle switch. For some reason in the past, I seemed to have more success with those channels then any of the others . I hope it's only on the Discovery.
  22. You always have the option of doing your own excursion and using the local bus transportation system.
  23. It's about time those people pay for being overeaters. Why should I have to subsidize their gluttony.
  24. Sure can. I think the only place you can't have items delivered is the dining room. We ordered may times even when nearby the buffet as there were items offered using the Medallion which weren't at the buffet. (desserts)
