    You are correct. Try explaining it to security as you enter their terminal. All you need is one gung ho individual that forces you to bring it back to the ship or not enter Barbados to meet your tour group.

    Oh well, I guess we'll be getting our own from the closest bar unless things change sometime soon. btw- how has the satellite service been lately? Has it improved now that the ship is in the North American continent?

    Ballroom & opera just doesn't attract many of the younger crowd.

    So true. We've got a shelf filled with them and never used even one at home.

    Isn't that the truth. I'll have to see it one more time to view it in a different light. It seems like it was made for a younger Carnival audience and not the typical demographic of Princess.

    It's fine with me. There's that many fewer people on the ship.

    Perhaps is a security blanket? Similar to some of the older women carrying their pocketbooks everywhere they go? 👛 LOL

    The camo bands might not be approved for Barbados. "The wearing of any form of camouflage is illegal in Barbados. Do not dress in, or carry, items made of camouflage material. Possession and distribution of illegal drugs/narcotics is strictly prohibited. If convicted of such an offence the crime is punishable by a fine or imprisonment or both.

    It would be nice to have the theater included but I think it was halted because they didn't have sufficient crew to handle the extra orders. I didn't mine getting my own drinks, but service would have been nice.

    I'm glad to hear things are almost back to normal. I certainly hope that all of the other ships follow suite.

    I'm still not sure of why anyone would be concerned about hiding their identity on a Princess ship. Could anyone point to just one security item that could be compromised from my Medallion I might change my mind. In the mean time I'm just going to enjoy the benefits that come with having it being carried openly or in my pocket.

    As you know there are loads of options from wristbands, jewelry to pins that clip on and even watch band attachments. There's something for everyone including having you spouse carry it for you. I personally enjoy the features it provides like opening my door from 2 cabins away, having drinks delivered and finding my husband any where he decides to go during the day.

    Understood. But what's the difference between collecting medallions or cruise cards?

    They probably don't wash off their phone either. 😁

    I often wonder how many of those people that don't want to be tracked use credit cards, android auto/apple carplay, have an email and bank online. Yet they get on a Princess ship and have a fear that Princess will know how much they spend & where they sit at the pool. LOL 😄
