  1. Of course, but sometimes it might be quite a while before they notice it missing. Not that there are any dishonest people sailing on Princess.
  2. Both the prime rib and roast beef on Princess can vary greatly from cruise to cruise. It stops me from ordering a larger slice in the DR as it might turn out to be really tough or tasteless. Saving that, on our last 2 or 3 cruises it hasn't been that bad.
  3. I think you might have something there. If a person loses their Medallion anyone can take it to a kiosk, find out the cabin number and now has access to your room. I suppose the same is true of the cruise card but I haven't tested it.
  4. Maybe it's time to tape over that camera lens, at least for those paranoid passengers? It seems like an over kill to include cameras in each door entry unit.
  5. Whatever the reason, I'm still grateful that Princess has decided to relax their dress standards and allow people to choose for themselves what they feel comfortable wearing. Everyone can now either go all out on formal evenings or simply, go casual.
  6. It's going in for refurbishing during Sept/Oct 2023.
  7. Not according to a friend of mine who's a dessert chef aboard the Enchanted. Princess likes to brag about making everything from scratch. There's something distasteful about saying your being served a portion of frozen pie. No pun intended. I didn't inquire about the bread and rolls but I will next cruise. Somehow I doubt if they're bought frozen, but who knows? I do wonder about the key lime pie and flan served in the glass terrines? They're always iced cold so they could have easily been shipped frozen. They could add the whipped cream and garnish just before being served.
  8. I'm sure it has many items to be fixed & repaired.
  9. The food service they purchase their pies from is quite good at not letting their pies become runny. Besides that, how could they ship them around the world without creating a mess otherwise? Has anyone ever noticed that the pecan pie that offer is always hard as a nut bar? It's terrible by any standards.
  10. I'll bet he cleaned up on the betting pool for that cruise.
  11. So using your accounting method, I could have saved thousands of dollars by buying everything that was included in the coupon book and special offers they presented me on our last cruise. LOL 😆
  12. A waiter who smiles & complement passengers always get bigger (additional) tips. They're not stupid. Most of them have been doing their job for a long time and know how to work the crowd. 😉
  13. What's a dance card? Is that like a coffee card from a few years ago?
  14. The crew has no choice in the matter.
  15. That's what I was going to say. 40 women and 2 guys. 😄
  16. It's probably the primary reason why many of the first time cruisers do dress up but after numerous cruises, it's get old. As far as people not dressing up on the second night, they see that formal clothing isn't all it's cracked up to be in order to enjoy the meal. Why bother when you can wear something comfortable without being forced to dress up for the same thing.
  17. We hardly use the laundry at all since they seem to ruin our things so our use is minimal at most. How you determine the cost of soda is puzzling. $90 worth of soda is quite a bit unless you calculate their price by the can which is ridiculously high. If you sail with one of their plus packages, it's totally worthless.
  18. The only things I can think of that remain are the ones that don't cost Princess one penny, like priority tendering, Elite boarding lounge, special color Medallion and being able to book cruises ahead of others. Of course there's 10% off spa treatments and photo packages, if you can consider that a perk.
  19. I can accept that some people are a little greedy but considering the size of the lobster tail they serve, 1 or 2 extra tails is far from being greedy.
  20. You pretty much covered it. On one of our trips we were denied the 10 % Elite discount on liquor which was on special sale, like buy 2 bottles liquor & get a special price. Although the prices was very close to those on land, it always made it convenient to make purchases on the ship. I just thought of something. What about the elimination of upgraded cabin items? Weren't they strictly for the Elite? They're gone now.
  21. Maybe I'm assuming something but they sound like a fun crowd. 🥳
  22. And the people who weren't dressed up, were not?
