The funny thing is that Disney with all their increases over the years, still honors their tickets purchased years ago, no matter what you paid. We've still got one 3 day ticket left. You can't say the same for Princess.

Somehow I still can't believe it. And that might be only for that one particular ship.

That would have been the honorable thing to do but the dollars got in the way, even for their most loyal customers. (if there is such a thing anymore)

It's just watered down the boarding process for Elites. I'm surprised they didn't include priority tendering also.

Until anything changes, I'll be the one who times my absence from the chair, which in most people's opinion is very reasonable. I certainly don't arrive at 7:30 AM & hold it till mid morning but simply reserve it during my very quick buffet break. (especially now that they want to charge me for food and drink delivery) We also remove the towels when leaving. Compared to what I've experienced on most of the ships, it's more than accommodating. I'm waiting for reserved seating for the Premium package people. 😜

I guess that review about Princess wasn't acceptable after all.

😄 Yea, and cleaning up all those balloons must have been tough job.

I just listened to a YouTube video about how the cruise lines are all planning to increase their prices in the near future.

We're in the same situation right now & we have the plus package at the old $50 per day price. My DH wants to go ahead with it while I don't. They've priced the package right at the point of breaking even IF you're a drinker, which I'm not. He'll have to drink my portion of the package. 😄 Decisions, decisions.

It's not wrong but how would it distinguish what a person is doing when they left the chair, like being in the pool or other activities in the area like talking to another person nearby? You could also ask another nearby person to reset it for you while your gone to the bathroom and snack.

I'm always amassed that the Princess cakes usually all taste the same. The only difference being the decorations applied. On our last Royal class ship they had a dessert afternoon in the buffet where they had many cakes offered. They all looked very nice but lacked any distinguishable flavor... just lots of whipped cream.

That's a way of bending their rules but how long must a returning person remain in the seat to qualify for another 30 minute leave? Just being a little sarcastic of course.

When you can convince people to follow your advice I'll be more than willing to join the crowd. In the mean time, my method works for me & my DH and haven’t lost a seat yet.

I'm usually not late but even if I were I could just sit there for a while and start the clock again if I wanted. Saying that, were more than considerate compared to many others.

Definitely consider a B2B and eliminate that dreaded plane flight back home again.

Well I'm sorry but as I see it, the way I utilize the lounge chair is perfectly fine. Princess nor anyone else has never removed my items even if I am 10 minutes late returning.

I guess you were serious after all. 😄 Unfortunately, you don't make the rules, Princess does and as I see it, there are no limitations as to where I can go during my 30 minute breaks. i.e. food, bathroom, drinks, walking. What are those "lounge chair things"? Is there a list I can check?

Are you serious or is your post meant to comical? Who determines what a person is supposed to do when not actually sitting in the chair? What people do their absence is their business and as long as they don't abuse the time limit to any great degree, there's no harm done. And btw, what are "lounge chair things"?

They just switched ours also from green to blue. I'm so tired of their updates in the program I'm just going to live with it especially since getting the medallion at the port isn't a big deal.
