  1. I would do it OB with GS. Print out the GC for them, they will want a paper copy. Write down the amount leftover and check your balance on the card. The phone agents have problems figuring out how to add a GC, much less a partial card. JMO from previous experience. If you have a TA/CVP they may be able to add a GC for OBC for you.
  2. I have seen guests turned away in the MDR on formal nights, wearing shorts, several times. Otherwise just slacks and shirt are okay. I have never seen a requirement for coat and tie.
  3. You’ve brought up an interesting point. It has been on the news recently about the low water levels, due to climate change in the Panama Canal. The wait time for ships to get through can be 3 weeks now. Not sure how this will impact Cruise lines now. Something to watch.
  4. The PCL program is set up so each booking will have a CC registered in the name of guest owner. Makes sense for liability of that booking. What doesn’t make sense, is that you can’t prepurchase using whatever CC you want for onboard services. We have mostly waited till OB to purchase spa treatments, as they have sales OB. If you go with the other guests all together to GS, you can switch over all cabins to your CC, if you want. I have called into shore excursions, as was suggested, and booked us all, using my CC precruise.
  5. So happy they made it there. Keep us posted.
  6. No you do not have to pay for ON unless you are going to use it. Nor, the casual restaurants, only if you want to dine there. Room service will be $5 per order if you order from your cabin phone.
  7. Never saw that on the Princess website, but have seen it on Hotel websites.
  8. And welcome to cruise critic CC. Also, sometimes and I mean sometimes, I’ve seen formal night listed on the App Journey View activities timeline about 1-2 weeks before sailing.
  9. I know, it’s disappointing for us too. Wonder if it’s fleet wide?
  10. 😂 Just stop at the IC. They may have them that day!
  11. Still seems like a lot for RS. I think you found the ones they deleted. Some others were increased a little. Is this menu shown on the TV also? Chocolate chip cookies now $4.99. Wow.
  12. Of course! Thanks Chips and Guac are gone? They are $9 to buy ahead of cruise, cruise personalizer. No thanks Wanted to make sure the fries are still there.😉
  13. They had expanded the menu too. That might have added to the demand. So, not surprising that they are now reducing it.
  14. Mine always have. We usually book 1 to 2 years out. Never know these days what will happen. I booked 2024 trip 2 months ago and it went down once so far. YMMV
  15. Yes, definitely book, put on a deposit and recheck it periodically for sales. You have plenty of time before final payment.
  16. It probably was not your TA, but a problem with the IT team. The same thing happened on one of my bookings snd I KNOW I ordered both medallions. I had to order one of them AGAIN and of course pay $10 shipping, as before it was free when originally ordered. I’m standard, no package. So, I assumed that was one way to make me pay for shipping or pick up at the port. I would say your issue may have changed with that IT error a few months ago or about 2 weeks ago there have been more changes and with the updates, again affecting the orders of medallions. You have time. Just check periodically, see if it will let you order on the App again for your DW. Do you have a beverage package?
  17. Their programming changes have caused more errors with medallion orders and boarding color categories since last week. They said wait 48 hours and try again. We’ll see.
  18. When you go to the App and click On “Choose your medallion wearable “ You should see both names: Completed medallion orders Order history: click Should show history of booking number, as that means you ordered it.
  19. Disney cruises hold time was 600 minutes, or so the recording said. No thanks.
  20. Another tip. Use the aft or forward elevators to drop off your bags in your cabin, less crowded.
