  1. That’s good to know. You can’t order it on the App anyway. Hopefully, it’s the same on UBD and UBB. Or, just wait for them to call you, if you’ve prepurchased. 🥴
  2. Or, take a black marker and change the cabin number, and have baggage handler put it in the correct baggage cart.
  3. Uh, no…it doesn’t appear there are those all-critical testing periods. Seems as if, testing is during the rollout period. SMH
  4. Okay, show it shows the value of each item, probably. I thought you were posting the shipping charges. 🥴
  5. Love the Aft facing balcony too. It would be higher in price, so didn’t mention that one.
  6. Great cruise! So either side is great for viewing. Coming into port and sailaway we like the port side in the background. Everyone is different, but we love the bigger balconies. I’d pick D224 or D226 for the forward or close to it and Aft, I’d pick D704 or D702 and no did not hear noise from stairs or lifts. We’ve stayed in these on the Sky and Enchanted (sister ships). JMO
  7. That’s odd, as it doesn’t start until Sep 25th. Did this just show up on yiur Travel summary? Or, was it old information?
  8. They are crew areas, luggage, storage, etc. But, NEVER heard anything from them.
  9. Welcome to CC (Cruise Critic) and Princess! Nothing wrong with B607, but we prefer the port side. You don’t say what area you’re cruising? Caribbean? Europe? We find it’s more picturesque on the port. Not always. I’d pick B608. You won’t hear anything from the laundrette. But, If I were booking the SKY, I’d book Dolphin balconies, forward or Aft, because we love the big balconies. Look at the deck plans. Unless it’s a lot more money. Just check it out. BTW, the Sky is beautiful. Enjoy!
  10. It sounds like your best bet is to book the 2 cruises, 7 days each. If the price is similar, you have more flexibility, in case of fare changes, air booking, etc. We do the b2b’s usually, unless it’s higher to do so. Also, you’ll have the same cabin and better choice of cabins, in your case if you book it as two 7 day cruises. Won’t make any difference either on the App, as it will show one cruise, even though you book it as 2.
  11. Most of the time it’s USPS in the US, at least my cruises in 2022 & 2023. The packaging is very small box holding the OM and lanyard in a small white bubble envelope with a blue seawitch.
  12. $5 savings will buy a specialty coffee! Unless it goes up again! 🥴 🎈
  13. I’ve had Lavazza espresso and it’s great! Hope it’s at the IC coffee bar.
  14. They had special crew members selling it in the piazza, at the elevators and of course GS for day 1 and 2. Good point, I wondered the same thing. Maybe someone will ask them?
  15. Yes, thanks for clarifying. Definitely the Plus/Premier package. They were really pushing it OB.
  16. Yes you can on Day 1. They will be all over the ship selling the beverage packages. Also at GS. You will save insurance on the amount of the package too. However, if you’re not traveling for a while, remember these prices could increase at any time.
  17. Now, if they can get the App updated by then!🤣
  18. Does PCL own the casinos, or is it a third party? They must be making a lot of money from the casino, to be able to offer so many free and discounted rooms. As they are tightening up so much now, I’m surprised to see the offers.
  19. Did you try the App from your smartphone? Sometimes it behaves itself. They have been running updates for the last 2 weeks and of course one change generates another error response. We don’t know when the fix is. It’s working pretty well on my iPhone, for now anyway.
  20. Yes, they are. Do you sign up for that ahead or once OB? TIA
  21. It is real, but it has taken months of cold calls and some not as nice as others. Acting as though they were PCL employees. They are not. They are a 3rd party TA (O.N.E). It would have been nice if PCL would have announced that they would be calling or emailing us. We had to figure it out. They have access to our information and now in the day of identity theft, we should have been told. No transparency again. JMO
  22. Absolutely, if your DH needs a wheelchair when you’re boarding, out on an excursion or for whatever reason, just tell a crew member and they’ll get one for him. It’s just that they don’t supply a wheelchair if you’re in need of it for the whole cruise. They want guests to bring their own. But, I’ve seen many people ask or get one for a short period on PCL. Not much in Costa Maya. You’re not missing too much. I like PCL a lot better than CCL, but YMMV. Hope you have a great time!
  23. I agree with @ceilidh1 that for the Plus/Premier packages, both guests 1 & 2 must purchase the package in the same cabin. The only reference that I could find on the website was under the package FAQ was that guests 3 & 4 were not required to purchase a package. I had to dig through the website to find this. There is another good thread on this subject.
