  1. Here’s one thread, on page 23. Many more discussions further back.
  2. See the article: Starting November 27, 2024, the 3,140-passenger ship will sail four to 14-day cruises out of Port Canaveral. Itinerary highlightsinclude:
  3. We’ve been on 12 cruises since the restart and DMW. We dine early and have not had a problem replicating TD, but we do get a private table either for 2 or with others in our family. Book same time, same DR every night on the App. If you like the table given first night, stop on the way out and tell the hosts or the Dir of Restaurant OPs/Maitre’d you’d like that table every night. They will enter it in the system. Just check the next night to be sure you have it confirmed, checkin and go to your table every night. Worked for us, every time. BTW, if you’re a food svc mgr, they may pick up some pointers from you. 😉
  4. They were on the list, but may not be offering it now. Other cruise lines may offer it. IDK Also, airlines can change too, as not all offer the service. I would always check with GS once OB.
  5. Great idea. You can get a big package of those at the dollar store too. I use them to put over our shoes in the suitcase too. I take ziplock baggies for food in the frig.
  6. Yes, agree. That would keep me from booking a guarantee cabin. Only had to do that a couple of times, because it was sold out. But, I wouldn’t in the future.
  7. Those categories are the lowest possible prices of cabins In Inside, balcony and mini suites, etc. Lowest, you’ll see those on the deck plans, like IF, BF, MF etc. So, if you look at the next higher category, you should be able to see what is open.
  8. No, not LAX In Dec. Only ones that I’ve heard for EZCheck for Princess are Port Everglades FLL, Honolulu and a similar program at Seattle.
  9. Is there an inside available near you? It would be great for your sons to sleep, shower and TV. That’s what I would do. But, others have already offered suggestions for the 4 of you in the MS. If it’s in 2 weeks, there may be a good deal on an inside. IDK
  10. Seems they were given at random. We didn’t get them pre covid either. But, we really didn’t want them anyway. 🙄 If you asked, you could get them.
  11. That’s really sad. More push to get you to but the beverage packages. SMH Hopefully, we will get updates on more ships. Maybe it started in May?
  12. Wait! What? They wouldn’t switch out anything? This is a biggie. If you don’t use all these different liquors, etc… Wow! I miss the coffee package…now this? What month was this? I really hope it was just the Royal or a supply issue and not fleetwide. SMH
  13. Yep. We did also, at the early restart. I have plenty of those anyway.
  14. No, it was not designated just a “Pub lunch” … it was the featured lunch on the menu, as well as other meals. I didn’t think it was as good as the past. But, it was good to just have a little variety.
  15. And no more Princess shopping bags, either.
  16. Yes, absolutely. Tell them what you would like. We do that on every ship for Elite tea.
  17. We had it on a sea day, in the MDR for lunch, Enchanted in March. You have to check the menu for lunch on the App or your TV. It was not advertised in the patter.
  18. Pick D736, as a little bit better view when in port, on the port side, on most of the port stops in the South Pacific. You will get shade once the sun moves over. Sailaways are great from Pago Pago and Moorea. We did UBD’s during them. Great pics! Enjoy the rest of your cruise.
  19. This would be s great thread for you to read and ask your questions.
  20. They wouldn’t have missed so many sales, had they been open more hours. People wanted to book, but not wait in long lines. Why not just hire more agents and be open during business hours? Too late now. However, this is off subject. Supposed to be about Captain Circle Hostess/Host.
  21. Was it strictly a cruise or was it including hotel packages? TIA
