  1. They seem to do this modification in dry dock. Anyway, we just take masking tape and cover the sensor. Works great. You can also ask the steward to cover the one in the closet too. We put it on the nightstand one and the closet one. We also take the little led candle lights and put one in the bathroom. Just enough light you don’t need a flashlight or have to turn on a light. Just turn it off in the morning and it lasts about 30 days.
  2. Domestic travel is usually not a bargain on EZAir. However, their contracts with international travel is great. We usually do EZAir for International travel and direct with the airlines for domestic. But, always check it for your own itinerary.
  3. Were there tables for 2, against the wall or more private tables, than the bench type ones in that MDR?
  4. Were the tables for 2 the same in any of the MDR’s? Were they all the bench style, very close to one another? TIA
  5. Misspelled names present a problem, as opposed to a missing middle name for the airlines. Since you accepted a move over, that means you’re going on a different date? So, will they just refund your EZ Air tickets? So you won’t have to worry about that ticket? If so, that is a blessing. Who did the typo? If a TA/CVP, they would have to correct it. Although, after the initial booking, most TA’s say to check over all the items and report any discrepancies right away. Our’s does. Once, we had a name misspelled by a TA and United insisted the TA had to call. TA refused, said airline would have to do it. So….again we called UA and told them the TA refused. A UA supervisor did make the change, as it was very minor, just a typo.
  6. You’re already paying 18% gratuities, because it’s from the bar. We don’t tip additional for drinks because 18% is included. However, we do tip additional at the end of the cruise, to those special crew members. No way would I worry about pockets or carrying around cash. JMO
  7. The news says they’re getting more gas brought into Ft Lauderdale area. You might check with a current roll call, to see what is going on. You could also use Uber/Lyft instead of a taxi.
  8. Yes, as @Lady Arwensuggested, order on the App, or if not in your closet when you board, just ask your cabin steward.
  9. No. The drydock was after we got off in March. It sailed from PE through the canal and then Portland, OR for dry dock. You might check CC for articles about the CP after April/May 2022 to see if there’s any information. It was not refurbished, just the normal updating, like replacing carpet, furnishings, deep cleaning, etc. I heard they worked on any things that were broken or needed servicing. That’s all I know.
  10. It’s probably the norovirus that they’ve been fighting. Could be covid, also. I’m sure they are taking precautions now, right? They had a norovirus outbreak recently on that ship, others have posted. It does affect the crew also, as they must be short staffed now. The other cruise lines have been affected too, not just Princess.

For consumption in your cabin, you can purchase those ahead of time on the PCL website. 375ml bottles Cruise personalizer> onboard services > Princess wine and spirits > move down past the wines to see the selection of spirits. When you get OB, Just call RS to have the liquor delivered. The price is the same once you are OB, except sometimes OB they add extra taxes if you’re still in port when you order, or the prices may be increased soon, as all the other beverage packages have been increasing. JMO Also, the selection may be more limited once OB. Depends on supply. If you’re referring to the large bottles of liquor, that you purchase duty free OB, those are delivered the night before disembarking. If you have the beverage package, you shouldn’t need to buy more, unless you just want them available in your cabin.

  15. Again, don’t rely on Journey View. It has some of the OB activities correct, but the rest, not so much. It also had our formal nights wrong on our 20 night cruise last month.
  16. That is strange. Did you see it on the Journey View? I wouldn’t put a lot of trust in Journey View, if so. Our last cruise, it was way off. Normally, they don’t advertise CT ahead.
  17. Ignore old posts. Check current sailings since the drydock earlier last year. We did 6 weeks last Feb/Mar and only smell we noticed mid ship Caribe deck, near the elevator. Was supposed to be fixed in dry dock from what I heard. Many ships have issues periodically due to people trying to flush items or not using ship toilet paper.
