  1. I just checked 4/5 Emerald ex LA, don’t see a problem bringing up prices. Although, the website is acting strange. I could only get prices by logging in. When I did not log in, just checked for cruises, just a white screen.
  2. Partially true…but take a look around the longer cruises and you’ll see who is spending the money. It’s definitely not the newbies. Unless they plan to eliminate the longer cruises and just sail the short 5-7 night cruises, they still need the Elite and Platinum folks to fill the ships.
  3. There is a thread on this already. Check it out. $140 per person is not excellent IMO. We just did the winemakers dinner on the Enchanted at $40 per person. Silverado vineyards and it was excellent.
  4. We got ours back the next evening on our recent Enchanted cruise. We had 800 b2b’s, with a lot of Elites. Seems to be getting a lot better now.
  5. Have you ever sent an email to the Princess Access Office, to question the possibility? accessofficeprincess@princesscruises.com
  6. What I did like on the Enchanted, was that I received a comment paper twice from the General Hotel Manager for comments about what would make our cruise more enjoyable while OB. I did appreciate that gesture.
  7. I’ve never seen PCL base the boarding on the group time chosen. We were in a lounge for Suites and Elites in San Pedro. We boarded first.
  8. The coffee package was $36.58 per package, so for 2 it was $73.16. They gave us $50 pp OBC. Better deal for us the first cruise. The 2nd cruise, the bottle of wine value was only $44 total. Not so great, neither was the wine. 😆 No consistency here.
  9. I wonder how much the 360 experience will cost, if this is $140 pp for the winemakers dinner?
  10. IDK… what happened to the $40 per person winemakers dinner? It is held on Royal class ships in the wine cellar area MDR. Just did it on the Enchanted. Very good. It was Silverado vineyards Napa. Am I missing something? Is this in addition to the winemaker’s dinner in the MDR wine cellar? Or, is it being replaced?
  11. Great suggestions given already by CC members for you. I would suggest you call the dine line and request to be added to the list for the winemakers dinner. It’s held in the MDR midship, usually Santorini MDR on deck 5. We really enjoyed it. There were only 2 offered on a 14 night. Surcharge $40 per person and well worth it. Beautiful ship! Enjoy!
  12. My response to several current posts on this subject. We just got off the Enchanted 4 days ago. 20 night b2b. They are still in the transition mode for the discontinued coffee card. The crew was confused about it also. 1st cruise: I had planned to switch mini bar for 2 coffee cards….cabin steward said he’d do it for me. Several hours later, he said sorry…cannot do it. He had not been told about the discontinued coffee card package. I Called GS and they gave us a $50 OBC per person to buy our coffees AND I still switched out the mini bar ….alcohol for preferred alcohol and non alcohol for preferred non alcohol. Then….I looked at the ocean concierge…my beverage package and there was an option to buy a new grounds coffee card!!! I purchased one. So, I used the new grounds coffee package, just like the old days..15 coffees. @Shelly97060 had mentioned this on the ship she was on, during the same period. I had just purchased it and was unable to post it. Second b2b…I had pre purchased 1 coffee package, so DH and I would share it on a 6 night cruise. There it was…still under my beverage package. We used it as usual, 15 coffees, no issues. I called RS on the 2nd b2b and asked to switch out this mini bar, the day before the turnaround for 1 bottle of wine. I requested a $77 bottle. Nope! Best they do was a $44 bottle. Not really an equal value. They have not updated Ocean concierge….shocker! Maybe one day, they will update it. Big change I noticed…they said they no longer have Large cups of lattes, only a regular size. So, we said, then give us 2 lattes. They did. They said all the ships were only going to have regular sizes, but I don’t think they know. I believe it was a supply issue, due to the upcoming dry dock. You may only see 1 post here that they received OBC because of the discontinued coffee card, but many do not post about their OBC. I know many elite’s who DID get an OBC for the inability to switch their mini bar for coffee cards. I couldn’t post anything, because of the non existent internet on the Enchanted. Believe me, if you’re traveling soon, YMMV!
  13. Did you hear that whistling the whole time, during the storm? Or, was your balcony door just not locked? TIA
  14. I noticed they closed it many times for a private function. Hated to go through the casino, because Take Five was closed. Just got off in Barcelona,

  16. I assume you’re referring to a US port? Ft Lauderdale does have dogs. I’ve seen them a few times. Even coming into the US customs yesterday by air, they had dogs and asked me 2 times if we had ANY food, of any kind, on us. Luckily, we didn’t. Good luck on your ride home.
  17. No, you do not have to go on the first day. I went on the 2nd day to guest services and added my GC. No problem. Just recently.
  18. Just got off this morning at 9 am in Barcelona. No idea if they will advise any time soon about the changes that actually happen. We will know on April 15th anyway. Lol
  19. The Salty Dog Gastropub on 5 will change to an Irish Pub, O’Malley’s. There will be an extra charge to eat there, as of now they plan for it to be an “A la carte” menu. Similar to what you see at the Ocean Terrace sushi on deck 6. Their list is over 1,000 changes and a very short time to do everything. The crew has been given their lists of assignments to complete. They are still trying to figure out the best situation for adding doors to the casino, piazza side, to cut down the effects of smoking. They have several plans to modify and will see which will work best. They plan to remove the huge bar in the casino and replace it with slot machines. Also, they will try a different filtration system in the casino, as this one is not doing a good job. What really affected me, was the deodorizer they were pumping into the casino, to cover up the smoke odor. They used it in some halls, cabins and the casino. It smelled the same in the piazza, especially on 6 & 7. Overpowering. Some cabin stewards were spraying it in the corners of the cabins. Stinky stuff. IMO.
  20. Once OB you can definitely confirm, no problem. They should have a invitation in your suite.
  21. They are trying a new program on some of the ships. They responded to ONE of my cancelled DMW reservations. We canceled many, if we were not going to be there at night, as we went to winemakers dinner, 360, etc on the Enchanted. Crazy
  22. Happy for those on the Sky…but the Enchanted TA was nonexistent internet. Then Portugal, Spain, France, Gibraltar, and Corsica it was only an intermittent internet. Worst I have ever experienced on a ship.
  23. We’re on here too! @pompeii… what internet? Almost non existent first 14 days and intermittent day 15-18 so far.
