  1. I’m surprised, but I would be uncomfortable too. I know GS can do that, or other gifts like flowers, etc and those don’t come out of their own pockets. I would probably just check with GS and ask if stewards would have to pay out of pocket for such a gift? If so, I’d reimburse him with an extra tip. But, that’s just me. Let us know please.
  2. Have you tried your TA/CVP? Most have reported they have not had any luck, but worth a shot to have them try for you. If you don’t have a CVP, I would probably request one at PCL and present them with this dilemma. JMO
  3. No big deal. Try later or not. Just go when you want. They really aren’t checking that.
  4. Yes, the price is the total price for 2. I selected both names as it’s for both people. You can select a day mid cruise or whatever you want and make a note “date is open” It doesn’t really matter, because they will need to call RS and set up the date anyway.
  5. It sort of worked on the website version? The arrival groups are loaded 59 days to 12 days from sailing on the App. Glad you’re green now.
  6. Oh my! I’d call that a semi-productive full day. Kind of…🙃
  7. Did you try to sign in using your booking number instead of your email and password? If that doesn’t work: Did You try the web version of the App to check in? Cruise personalizer Check in You’ll see the Google bar for the app download… right below that ”Try our website version” (blue hyperlink) Don’t try to link any booking or reregister, just causes problems. Use your booking number and name DOB to log in on the website. If that doesn’t work on the website try your partner’s name, dob & booking number instead of yours. Works sometimes.
  8. You will get it with your b2b information, in your cabin, a few days before your turnaround day.
  9. Wow! That’s amazing, it’s reversed. They didn’t notify you? They normally would notify your TA/CVP and they pass it on to you. Of course, this is a weekend. We’ve had many port changes, ship changes, etc. Would be hard on a port intensive trip to rebook every tour. 😳
  10. Definitely would not rely on the App journey view. It may have loaded incorrectly. Look on the website, travel summary or itinerary on your booking. Yes, the do notify you for schedule changes by email through your TA, if you have one.
  11. Thank you very much for this info. So, your CruiseHealth tool was NOT updated? It still read the way it does today? First sentence saying medically observed required? Is this email the only notice you received? Did it come directly to your email, or was it sent to your TA and then to you? Do you think you were notified because there were so many complaints about the wording on the protocols? I thought there was a lot of controversy from your sailing about it. So good to know. Only a week ahead? Still will have to order emed tests that close to departure, unfortunately. TIA
  12. But it can make a difference if you have to go by a different time zone. If the ship leaves from LA and your in a different time zone, some in Europe, Canada, East Coast, etc then you would have to worry about the hours. Days is a lot easier…. just within 3 days of sailing, you don’t have to count the hours. Just make sure it’s not more than 3 days before sailing… no matter where you are. Easier, don’t complicate it. 😆 It’s complicated enough just to determine covid protocol terminology. 😳
  13. Strange. I still show $2497 on the website this morning. no change from last night.
  14. Yes they are uncovered and that’s why we didn’t do CC on the Crown. We booked the Caribe deck balcony because it has a bigger balcony and 1/2 covered. We spend a lot of time on the balcony. The cover is a must for us.
  15. Probably. They use Polar. I checked different Travel agent websites and they also offer that fare. It’s the best sale ever fare. 😁 Good luck to the OP.
  16. I’m on the website and see caribe deck forward $2679 pp before taxes and fees. Emerald Aug 21, LA to NY, 19 night Panama Canal. Try it again on your phone or PC. Don’t see a problem with the website. Try different device. Can’t believe the TA can’t see it. With all taxes and fees $6438.00 How far did you get with the booking? I was not signed in with my Elite status, so it would be a straight fare.
  17. Yep. Why don’t they just say a self test is accepted and upload a picture of the negative test on the App with the date and passport? Why even say all the PCR/Antigen/:Administered/observed/ assisted ya da … ya da
  18. Let me reword that…the old tube of Lotus Spa hand lotion, which I liked, is no longer available. They do have a large pump of hand lotion. It is NOT the same. This new one broke my DH out. Not too good. I have my own packed already. Lol Thanks for correcting that!
  19. I have used OBC for excursions pre cruise. When you book your excursion, it will show if you have OBC available to use. If you don’t, then it will show payment due and you give a CC number. Some of the TA OBC are only available once OB.
  20. I had to laugh when I saw it. I get carried away and have those great moments. 😆
  21. Are you on the TA or S Pac? Did anyone else get a Princess robocall from 888 858 1081, recently? They have used this phone no to call guests in relation to get ocean ready for your cruise in the past and also to remind guests of vaccine and test requirements. I received a call on Jan 25th, but it went to my call spam filter. Ughhh I only realized it today, and now I clicked to allow calls from that number. It is a robo caller Princess number, but this one I’d like to hear. If anyone gets a call, let me know what it is about. Wondering if it’s related to covid protocols for the TA cruise in March? Don’t know if I’ll get another call.
  22. Yes. Shower gel in one and shampoo-conditioner (combo) in the other one. Sink has hand soap now in a container, instead of the bar soap. No hand lotion now.
  23. I think sending messages repeatedly, only slows down the response for claims. Sounds like you applied for just the FCC’s? Check her account periodically, for Future cruise credits. They will just appear in her account. If you applied Dec 6th, you may hear in February, I would think. Some have waited a lot longer, as AON handles claims for several lines, not just PCL. No excuses, just reality of staff shortages everywhere. I would lean on your CVP and ask if they could help expedite things. I also applied on Dec 7th and haven’t heard anything. When you check your claim number on AON, does it say “In Progress?” Does anyone know how long the “In Progress” usually takes? Good luck and let me know when you see those FCC’s. TIA
