  1. FAQ's on NCL.com: Can I bring alcohol on board? All guests are prohibited from bringing alcohol on board our ships. Please note that with the exception of Wine and Champagne, all guests are prohibited from bringing alcohol on board our ships. If you purchase any alcohol at one of our ports-of-call or in our onboard shops, we will safely store your purchase(s) and either on the final night of the cruise or the morning of debarkation it will be available for pick up in a designated area. Wine & Champagne Policy Guests may bring bottles of wine and champagne on board. When bottles are brought on board and served or consumed in any restaurant, public room area or in their stateroom, a corkage fee will be charged according to bottle sizes noted below. 750 ml Bottle: $15.00 USD 1,500 ml Magnum: $30.00 USD Wine or champagne sent directly to the ship by travel agents, friends, family, etc. or from another retail source, are subject to the same fees. Box wines are not allowed on board. Corkage Fee is not applicable to guest with beverage package.
  2. The OP said that the person has been checked out many times and nothing was found. AFIB would have been found.
  3. Not only that but not all cruise line websites show all the given cabins available in a category. They may only show 20 at a time. NCL has a weird system like that.
  4. You'll want to read the T/C's of the promo drink package. https://www.ncl.com/terms/premium-beverage-package And here is the link to ALL drink packages including the upgraded package: https://www.ncl.com/onboard-packages/beverage-packages
  5. Did they run out of fries when they got to plating those ribs? lol
  6. Bad advice. Not a smart move to initiate a confrontation with some rowdy people who no doubt are at different stages of inebriation. I agree though with escalating the complaints through the chain of command.
  7. Well, I won't venture to tell you what to do with your money but it seems a bit harsh to stiff your steward because of that. Just my .02 cents worth.
  8. Doesn't seem to matter if we are still in a global pandemic and travel plans are up in the air for pretty much everyone. People come here and see plans being messed up all the time, they see, read and hear about all the problems with airlines and cruise ships on the news. Yet, they act all surprised and upset when things get changed even though they got good compensation. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.
  9. What is the itinerary for your cruise or one you are looking at?
  10. If you're on board the ship right now simply ask one of the officers what capacity the ship is at on your sailing.
  11. Absolutely. If you are finding the planning overwhelming a good TA can make your life much simpler.
  12. That mascot is kind of cringy and I won't even mention why. lol
  13. 9,000 passenger capacity? That sound like a nightmare all the way around.
  14. Yep, some threads deserve to just ride off into the sunset never to be heard from again. 😉
  15. A good resource that's helped a lot of folks is the Cruise/Travel Insurance forum. You may want to peruse that if the NCL coverage isn't what you need. Here is the link: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/499-cruisetravel-insurance/
  16. Go to NCL.com. Scroll all the way down, click on " for investors". Again, scroll all the way to the bottom. Form link is right there. 🙂
  17. Pro tip: Click on the promo on NCL.com. On the next page scroll all the way down to the "Terms and Conditions" link. That will tell you all the info you need for all of the promotion offers. The offers are not always the same as previous similar promos. 🙂
  18. CCL now under the $10 level with NCLH not far behind. Lots of food for thought on what to do right now. 🙂
  19. With as bad as the stock indexes are this year nothing would surprise me. Ugly times for pretty much everything on Wall St right now.
  20. It's addressed in the FAQ section of your link. https://www.ncl.com/sail-safe#sail-safe-faq
  21. From the CC Guidelines: Posts in Languages Other Than English We welcome everyone here at Cruise Critic! You are welcome to post in your native language; all we ask is that you include the English version in your post so that everyone can understand and enjoy.
  22. I also feel like it's a bribe and that you are not treating the crewman like a service professional who will do a good job to EARN those tips. But, everyone is free of course to spend their money as they see fit.
  23. I believe that tour guides usually get a comped lunch for bringing a tour group to a particular restaurant.
  24. Pretty clear actually. Click on the "Sail Safe" banner at the top of the NCL.com home page.
