  1. Was not certain when we might be able to book a set time for dining every night while on the "connie" when using the my time dining plan...Trying to avoid the massive lines that we have experienced on rccl in the past, for folks that did not have a pre arranged dining time. thanks much for any info.
  2. go to cruisedeckplans.com and you can look at the decks on the ship and click on the public site photos for different cabins on that deck.
  3. wonder if anyone would be kind enough to post the list of "by the glass" wines that are currently being poured on the celebrity ships in conjunction with the classic beverage package that is included in most of the pricing structures now......The last time we sailed with celebrity six months ago we were pleased with their chardonnay selection in this catergory. I always bring a few bottles of la crema with us , but if the wine that they are serving has got the word california on it i stand a little chance of it being o.k. thanks for any help, it is greatly appreciated.
  4. jimbo: yes this is the pc cruise next oct. 23'....They had three cabins left at the time two of which were on deck 7 at the very back of the ship and the one that i booked which is on deck 10...We have never done a connecting cabin in over 30 years of cruising and that is the reason for the post...We booked the cabin in may while onboard the explorer and i took what i could get...I guess that i will have to begin the arduous task of looking for them to open up some new balcony cabins, but with the pricing structure being so good and the great itinerary i am not too sure what will open up....thanks.....B&B in clearwater
  5. just booked a balcony-connecting cabin on the radiance and was hoping that i could get some feedback on how much more normal noise i can expect to come through that doorway from my neighbors next door...It was the only balcony available so i took it. Hope to get quiet and respectful neighbors but i just did not know how much more i can hear with this type of cabin as compared to the normal cabin with solid walls..thanks so much for any helpful feedback, it is much appreciated.
  6. we are booked on the "connie" this fall and were wondering if anyone knows if they are still using the balcony cabins on deck 7 for isolating passengers that test positive for covid....We sailed on her in dec of 21' and that was the plan back then...We were upgraded to conv level on deck 8, as we had booked a nice balcony on the aforementioned deck 7...We just want to get an idea if they are still blocking off those cabins for the unfortunate folks that contract the virus...thanks for any help on this matter....
  7. i said fully vacinated and boostered.....you must not read the paper that publish the #s every week...for those that continue to get this stuff, that is not normal. hope you stay healthy. 3
  8. things here in florida are not back to normal.....covid is running rampant, but people are blind to it. only 27% of the florida residents have been fully vaxed and boosters and they wonder why the rates are skyrocketing.....like ron white says:you can't fix stupid.
  9. we always get a table for two....Way too many horror stories from back in the day when we sat at larger tables..We got a frig magnet years ago in spain that said "Happiness is being married to your best friend".....This is how we like to enjoy our dining together and we are never bored....i feel lucky to have her.....life is good and cruising makes it even better. wish everyone well....B&B in clearwater.
  10. JUst asking if the noise from the centrum activities make the hump cabins on this ship a no-no for noise level in the evenings??We have sailed on the sister ships and have avoided the hump cabins, but are tempted to try one because of the great balcony ....thanks so much for any input.
  11. my wife had extensive foot surgery and i asked the dr. his thoughts on women wearing flip flops all of the time...His response was hilarious---he said he loved women wearing them because it has made him a millionaire......lol
  12. we too just got off of the explorer and the review of chrismch was spot on...We enjoyed most of the cruise, but the food was indeed hit/miss and the deembarkation was a mess...Six times they announced that they were sorry for all of the delays in getting of the ship and we were supposed to be in the first group of folks with luggage at 8:20 and we got off of the ship at 10 a.m.We will now stay in tampa for our next two cruises on celebrity and rccl....hope all goes well for everyone...
  13. if it is in mexico we stay on the ship.....wish rccl would add some more ports for those of us that sail out of tampa.....Not a fan of anything mexican.
  14. thinking of doing a transatlantic sailing in may of next year and we have never ventured out of the caribbean when doing our past sailings...The ship would be a small one(90K tons) if that makes a difference..Just wanted to glean some good knowledge from all of the veteran cruisers that have been fortunate to do these transatlantic sailings..thanks so much for any help...stay safe
