Good morning from beautiful Southwest Florida. Going to be a little warmer today with a high of 77. November is one of our driest months in Florida but we had quite a bit of rain yesterday. To tell the truth I haven't had a great pizza since growing up in Chicago in the 50s and 60s. As far as cruise lines go I think Celebrity has the best pizza along with the best food of all the Mainstream lines.

We also took 27 when we lived in Sebring. 27 to I-75 to I-595 right to the port, easy as pie.

We were on the Infinity on the Oct. 1st cruise and had a great cruise, super entertainment with excellent service and food. Infinity is a beautiful ship, just the right size with the traditional promenade deck with deck chairs where you can read a book in a quiet place while watching the ocean pass by, also very clean and well maintained.

Drive safely, I think you told me once you live in Spring Lake so you'll probably take 98 through Okeechobee and over to 95. Pier 4 is right next to the Princess pier and is just a very short walk from the parking garage. Enjoy your cruise.

Saw the hand surgeon yesterday and he said things look good as the infection is gone, just going to take some time to heal and the swelling to disappear, it's still sort of ugly looking but I am wearing just regular band aids. The nail should grow back in 3 months but will not look normal for 3 cycles or 9 months. See him again in 2 weeks and hopefully I get the OK to start golfing again. We recycle as we have a seperate receptacle for recycled items that Waste Management picks up every Thursday. I like bundt cake. Pass on the meal and libation. Off to the hand surgeon soon for an 8:30 appointment, hopefully the infection is gone and the finger is healing, it will probably take 6 months for the nail to grow back completely. Better day by day as I have very little throbbing, will know more tomorrow when the dressing is removed by the hand surgeon, just hoping that the infection has gone away for good.

A shame that HAL keeps cutting back on things, we sail on Dec 4th. on the NA and it just might be our last with HAL.
