Saw the hand surgeon yesterday and he said things look good as the infection is gone, just going to take some time to heal and the swelling to disappear, it's still sort of ugly looking but I am wearing just regular band aids. The nail should grow back in 3 months but will not look normal for 3 cycles or 9 months. See him again in 2 weeks and hopefully I get the OK to start golfing again. The NA and Eurodam are our favorite HAL ships, sailing on the NA 3 weeks from today.

We were on the Rotterdam in April and we had everything you didn't, that's strange. It was a pretty good cruise except for lack of entertainment in the Main Showroom, the group that performed in Lincoln Center was outstanding and received standing ovations after every performance. Great group in BB Kings but the piano players/singers in Billboard Onboard were pretty bad. We've had 3 cruises with Celebrity this past summer and the food on Celebrity is better than HAL, excellent service on both lines and beautiful clean ships.

Just returned from breakfast at Bob Evan's, very good eggs, pancakes and bacon meal. Only time I've been to Japan was on the way to Vietnam in 1967.
