  1. You should be able to reserve now on the website.
  2. Cannabis is not legal in Bermuda - we watched a couple be escorted off in handcuffs by Bermudian police after they were caught smoking it on their balcony. Also as noted, illegal on federal grounds making the transportation on to the ship illegal.
  3. You will have to go through Passport control as you progress to your connecting gate - read the signage and you should not have a problem. At the moment lines can be long so I suggest you head straight to your gate without stopping to admire the very beautiful airport.
  4. We had booked directly so handles it ourselves. Your TA does not sound like they have pushed to the correct people to get this done.
  5. Our refund for quarantine days took about 45 days - we did call the Engagement Center to initiate the conversation and then had to follow up several times.
  6. In Juneau we usually buy a ticket on the blue buses ( right by the dock) which takes you to the parking lot at the park, so we are free to hike without any time constraint except all aboard.
  7. Sorry for this - we tested pos on Constellation in Jan - we were able to recover the FCC from that cruise as well as a full refund for the second leg of back to back. It took a while and we were persistent with the Celebrity Engagement Center to get it sorted out.
  8. You will not be sailing that close to land - choose more or less sun if that matters to you. On these itineraries we are so busy that the cabin is less important to us - pooped after a long day so to bed pretty early.
  9. I have used them in every cruise cabin we have sailed in (M and S class with Celebrity, as well as RCCL). We use the 30 lb magnets with hooks from the hardware store - any stronger and I had trouble getting them off the wall 😀. I keep 4 in our travel kit and they work great to keep the cabin tidy.
  10. Here is the problem with the guesses of positivity rate - unless you test everyone you do not know the % positive. Since no cruise line, airline or resort is doing that we really do not know any more than we know how many people we sit with at work, church or at a bar are positive.
  11. Yikes - as I had no cabin service for my 6 days in quarantine, I cannot imagine what a bathroom that had been smoked in would smell like.
  12. We will be joining you on those two sailings - 3 weeks and counting!
  13. My understand is that they are pretty well gone by mid-August.
  14. We got our train tickets downstairs at the airport - very easy.
  15. Yes they do - though for me we can book on a premium line for less than that for a different experience that suits us well (traveling with young family makes the choice different).
  16. I am not aware of any Caribbean port requiring a negative test prior to entry - vaccination card is a different story. The island most discussed seems to be the requirement for Bermuda. To my knowledge currently the only test is to board the ship at embarkation. Having said that, consider checking requirements on your cruise ship site.
  17. We travel frequently enough that an annual travel policy gives us good coverage for less than covering each trip and covers many situations for all travel including here at home.
  18. We travel carry on only so minimal packing - multi plug for power and USB, magnet hooks to keep things tidy, and multi-country adapter if doing land travel. My only other thing is a refillable bottle.
  19. Have fun planning this. A couple thoughts - a Med cruise is very busy with long days in port so keep that in mind, for us itinerary is the key. Be aware that cruise ships are not docking in Venice now, instead at Ravenna which is a long bus ride to Venice, perhaps really limiting your time in Venice. Also consider that Europe can be very hot and crowded in July so longer port times are important to us. Final consideration we learned, we prefer a smaller ship as the time spent entering and exiting the ship at port are much easier, quicker. Not sure of your time constraints but there is a really nice 10 night cruise on the Celebrity Reflection Rome to Barcelona. We have realized that if we are flying that many hours and at the current prices we want more time. I would fly in 2 days early to Rome - time to get over the jet lag and enjoy Rome then add 2-3 days in Barcelona (we love exploring there) at the end before flying home.
  20. In Florida - Tampa with the long sail away through the Sunshine Skyway bridge as well as easy boarding. Also love the sail away from Bayonne with the New York skyline and Statue of Liberty.
  21. We really enjoyed Blu on Millenium and Constellation. I found the portions perfect for me and I enjoyed the menu very much. And when I spent 6 days in quarantine I was able to order from Blu with the help of the Maitre De, so much better than room service.
  22. Look carefully at your invoice - we have an outstanding balance of $13.68 on a cruise paid in full on March 10. We called in June and it was blamed on the "glitch" but as of today it still shows. After another call today I was told it would be forwarded to the dreaded Resolutions department - we spent hours with Resolutions and the Engagement Center in Feb and March sorting out our 9 days of quarantine and refund for second cruise so I finally hung up after that.
