If you cancel the reservations, you should a refund to the original form of payment. if you currently try to book additional nights, does the AP tell you that you have credits to use?

I understand your point. I believe that approach would be impractical with all the cruise line changes. You are suggesting that when Princess decided to add a surcharge for Casual dining, add a mandatory gratuity on the speciality dining fee, add a charge for Medallion shipping charge, increased the cost of internet, etc. that Princess should keep track by individual and implement the changes by individual booking dates? No freakin way, especially given all the changes. IMO it is more reasonable to increase the price of individual optional extras, than increase the base price for everyone. Some people do not want all those optional items. The fact that Princess allows you to pay an extra $10 a day pp to upgrade a package seems like a fair and reasonable approach. Customer’s decision.

I had a discussion with a Princess rep today. From my sample size of one, there is a training issues. I am going to retry tomorrow.

@20165, it would interesting to know if they adjust the minimum bids. I would cancel all the bids, wait a few days, and see how the ranges are impacted.

Are you saying that you paid $60 a person per day and Princess will not provide all the benefit is the current $60 a day plan? Or did you pay something less than $60 per day per person. Did you try repricing?

I have been in a suite on the Emerald Princess several times. The most recent was 1/23. I was not aware of a Conceirge, I received no literature, or any introduction. Maybe something new. I know there is not a lounge.

Interesting approach. Princess only requires you to maintain a cash balance/deposit on your account? Or are you suggesting that Princess does not require any charge card information or for you put any cash into your account?

If you would be disappointed with a connecting cabin, I suggest you do not bid.

@Miss Melly, I cannot give you the specific route, but I would think that you could use an elevator to get to the Sanctuary.

Things might change in the future, but with AA you do not need to use an AA Credit Card to purchased your ticket. This is true with United airlines.

All you need in one of their charge cards and you and the others on your reservation get one bag for free.

Obviously you have not been following the AA changes over the last couple of years. It is true that they want you to book on line via AA.com. Major emphasis on earning miles with charge cards and shopping. Mostly focused on Credit Card spending. Does anyone know the name of the consolidator that Princess or other cruise lines use?

Let us make it 100% as she indicated on her initial post. It was an emotional time for them and it may have been hard to think logical.

I used it a few times for drinks last year. (Once to our cabin). IMO this process is better in theory than it is in practice.
