Why bother? Royal has a great fleet that has great demand. Why spend money refurbishing an old ship just to accommodate people who don't want you there in the first place. If Bar Harbor doesn't want cruise ships, don't stop there. There are other options for cruise ships. Nobody is signing up for a NE/Canada cruise because of Bar Harbor. That's like saying if an Alaskan port like Sitka did the same thing people would stop cruising Alaska. Wouldn't happen. Bar Harbor is no more special than several other NE ports.

I say give the people what they want. You vote for no cruise ships give them no cruise ships. Royal should immediately drop Bar Harbor and overnight in Halifax, NS

Board before my assigned time?
Tree_skier replied to lucyrio's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Honestly, I wish they would enforce times. I go through the effort to do my check in as early as possible to ensure that I get the earliest possible boarding time. It's kind of annoying that lazy people who can't be bothered show up ahead of their time and make me wait in a line that shouldn't exist. -
Oh absolutely, I have been texting her weird random things like asking where we keep the extra TP or complaining I can't find a frying pan. Back to Call of duty for this afternoon until the hockey game starts. I'll be working like a rented mule the rest of the week so this I want to take full advantage today.

Day two of Bachelorhood. So far I have done the dishes, done laundry, repaired a cabinet drawer that has been stuck for months and pulled the fireplace insert out in an attempt to fix it. The fireplace repair was a failure. It could not be repaired by me but I have ordered an exact replacement and installing it falls within my rage of skills. Yesterday I went to Costco. My purchases were Vodka, Potato chips, Ghirardelli chocolate squares, chocolate drizzled caramel popcorn and Haggen-Daz ice cream bars. I ate half a meet pie for dinner. Last night I watched Top Gun: Maverick. It is a definite two thumbs up. 👍👍 and then spent the rest of the night playing Call of duty. This afternoon @4pm pst The Canucks take on the Senators. I think I'm going to survive Bachelorhood.

RCI- Deposits typically non- refundable?

Thank you and good catch, a comma was in the wrong place and made it all look wrong. Fixed it. Also, Voyager on 2/16 has actually changed to Adventure. -

Yes they would, when talking to your TA just make sure that they know you want a refundable deposit and you will have no issues. -
My wife has left me. She went back to see my daughter and the kids for 5 days. I will be baching it for the week. 🙂 She loaded up the fridge with groceries telling me not eat out to much... You'd think she'd have gotten to know me better after all these years. Lunch will be In N Out... Dinner is TBA.

You can get a non-refundable booking. When going through the booking process you need to go one step beyond entering the passenger name and info. There you will be given the the opportunity to select a refundable deposit for a fee. This is the same screen you select your dining time and if you want to pre-pay your gratuities. If you are booking a GS suite or a above there is no refundable deposits. Some travel agents will have access to group booking space available on some but not all itineraries. These come with as refundable automatically.
