Royal Caribbean Insensitivity (understatement)
Tree_skier replied to fibola's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Can you move dates for only $200 once you are inside final payment. I thought inside final change fees = cancel fees? -
Deployment 2025-26 booking season begins
Tree_skier replied to SummmerInKefalonia's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I love Navigator and have been on her few times with a few more scheduled. What I like about the idea of Anthem coming is weather related. Catalina and Ensenada can be cool in Nov/Dec/Jan Anthem would help with those cooler days and give me a change from the continual Navigator sailings. Swap out Navigator during the Australia season and let us rotate between Anthem and Navigator depending on the season. That way the folks down under have a choice class of ship as well . -

Going rate per bag for Porters?
Tree_skier replied to Truluv's topic in Royal Caribbean International
But it's not. There isn't a Longshoreman in North America making $25 an hour. That being said, I support people being paid what their labor is worth, which should dictated by a free market economy without interference from government. -
I did, which one do you have. The corner one while being obstructed have a very large deck. Probably 4 times bigger the typical balconies, the ones beside it are typical width but double the length. Instead of a two small chairs you get two small chairs as well as two full size loungers and tables. True you can't look directly down at the water but I'd gladly take one of those over a typical balcony cabin all the time. I understand it wasn't what thought you might get but I think you may be pleasantly surprised once you get it.

Yeah, my only thought is if they kicked the Pins out of the SL fleet wide that would put added pressure on the CL (former DL). It certainly won't save them any money though that's why the whole thing doesn't make sense to me.

I got my card number, applying online, instantly. They give you a number right on the spot with your instant approval to use until your card comes in. I had the minimum spend covered almost immediately too. I simply put $1000 on the card paying down a cruise I already had booked. The points were applied to my account on statement date 28 days later. They still have time.

Sky Junior Suites coming soon
Tree_skier replied to Ken at the beach's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Ah, I see that now. When I booked Icon I wasn't looking at suites so it never occurred to me and somehow I missed the discussion here on CC when that happened. I'm assuming there was a discussion anyways. I just did the same thing and it was a $600 difference. -
It also means a lot more capacity to handle the larger crowds too.

How do Diamond members use drink vouchers?
Tree_skier replied to Sun Lover's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I always try to go to the same couple of bars through out the cruise. I also try and get to know well one bartender in each bar I'll frequent. I find that that helps. -
Sky Junior Suites coming soon
Tree_skier replied to Ken at the beach's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Does this mean there will be two categories of JR suites, Sky and non Sky, or will all Jr Suites now come with Sky benefits. With complaints about overcrowding in the SL this seems like an ill fated decision unless of course the new "Crown Lounge" is designated for Pinnacle and D+ use only and Pins are booted from the SL and CK. -

BOA Royal has nothing to do with it. -
Poll to see how many cruisers are booked on vouchers
Tree_skier replied to RoyalC's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I've got 8 cruises coming over the next 508 days. None are booked with any kind of FCC attached to them. Demand is high because people want to cruise. No other reason. -
Yeah, it's been down for about an hour.

Yes, this is why I asked about the original letter. Which was a special sailing that is likely to have a large number of higher tier passengers sailing. Now we find out that this Wonder cruise is a special casino signature sailing. Thanks for this. This is the kind of info we need. For those of us who are not big Casino players can you tell us what is a casino Signature guest sailing?

Odds of drink package sale changing?
Tree_skier replied to WrittenOnYourHeart's topic in Royal Caribbean International
The price you see in the cruise planner reflects the BOGO 50% off price. You don't get another 50 % off the second person. When you buy it as a solo you are getting it at 25% off the posted price. -
Yes, you can ask for OBC for any cruise that is yet to be taken no matter when you booked it and when you purchased the stock. All they ask for is the booking number and a "current" brokerage statement. Request you share holder benefit here. It's easy... https://rcg.questionpro.com/a/TakeSurvey?tt=286lFZCRCioECHrPeIW9eQ%3D%3D

3 cappuccinos in a short period of time and I'd be twitching like a speed freak. There was a day that I could but that day is not today...

Music is fine but I draw the line with those clods who bring in their own bluetooth speakers thinking I want to listen to their rubbish music. If there is music it should something Royal deems appropriate for the environment.
