  1. My laptop top always wears a dark suit on formal nights. My iPad is less formal. He just wears a fishing shirt and cargo pants.
  2. I have always left mine out and sitting on the desk along with an iPad and sometime a go pro.
  3. It'll be a small ship... possibly radiance or brilliance
  4. Did you ask specifically for them to do it or did it happen automatically?
  5. That's good to know and really the only thing I care about and I'll only care about it for my next two cruises. I'll go back to not caring after that. The next two we have grand kids with us and I don't want the sofa bed out all day.
  6. So when she is doing the TA from Bayonne she would go to Civitavecchia instead of Southhampton. I’ve never seen anything like that recently. Is there any history of that that.
  7. I cruised with the Grand kids last Sept. Just had birth certificates. No problem at all.
  8. This is my hope. I’m not looking to book until April 2026 but hopes to do the TA from Bayonne to Southampton and then stay on for whatever her first cruise after the TA was.
  9. Great you’ll love it. Liberty of the seas was the ship that addicted me to cruising.
  10. Your marriage license and passport would work just as well and then you'd have your passport should something untoward happen the caused you to need to fly home early.
  11. My next trip to Cococay isn't until Dec 2024 so nothing imminent but at the current price ($179) It isn't worth it. I'd used it for an hour or two at the most. The rest of the time I'd want to be relaxing, eating and drinking. I'd pay $79 probably but that would be it.
  12. I don't know what to say junior... LOL It is certainly your prerogative to spend more than you have too. The data is pretty strait forward.
  13. I don't know why I bother with group rate ones like I do, they are always the cheapest. I can think of only one time where that wasn't the case and my TA let me know that the price had dropped on the group rate as well. I think that was on Ovation to Alaska in 2022. I think Royal added Quantum late and that changed the environment. There is no real reason to track group rates. I guess I'm a little OCD. Is it possible to be both OCD and ADD at the same time. I guess I just like to track how much money I have saved.
  14. The best way is to ask people you meet who really like their TA. You can't do that on Cruise critic unfortunately but there are other ways. While on a cruise you already have booked, other social media platforms, cruising fanatics love to talk cruising so any time you meet someone is a good opportunity to bring this subject up.
  15. Does anyone know if the lunch menu is the same as the dinner menu...
  16. Cococay is great. @karena1 summed it up really well. there is an abundance of loungers and shade that are available at absolutely no cost. There is a a wave pool that is no cost. There is included food if different locations that is no cost. The added cost things might make it a little more luxurious but are certainly not necessary. The biggest potential expense you might consider is the water park. I'm sure others are able to give you more info about that. I have never done it.
  17. Liberty's Ice show is my second favorite! It is fantastic.
  18. I was on Mariner out of Miami in April 2019. I didn't feel like it was a booze cruise. There were lots of kids and families. She is a similar ship with the same itinerary. Of course there were people who were drunk on board the ship but I never saw or experienced any "stupid drunk" people at all. I've done a couple of those short cruises out San Pedro on Navigator as well in the last year, one time with early and mid teen kids. Same experience... I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. As a matter of fact my next cruise is a short one, on Navigator, with grand kids.
  19. Exactly. I booked Icon when itineraries were first released and my TA's group space balcony was almost $800 dollars cheaper right out of the gate. Then it very quickly started accelerating upwards from there. I track, on a spread sheet, all my cruises, OBC I'll receive, what I paid and the current price from Royal. I can categorically state I have saved thousands of dollars.
