Some of my favourites were from Pauline's dear mam. She said I wish I had not gone to the doctor's because I have Angina Now. The other classic was in Rome. We were pushing her in a wheelchair near the Vatican. The traffic on the road in front of the Vatican was packed when the Pope appeared. A lorry driver waved us across and Pauline's mam jumped out of her chair and ran across the road to see the Pope. We held our hands up to the sky and shouted It's a miracle. The lorry driver probably gets free drinks for the rest of his life when he tells this story.

Nice photos Sandi. Portland itself has a D Day museum and a shop a short walk from the ship but little else Fortunately Weymouth supplied regular free shuttle's into Weymouth about a 10 minutes coach journey. Good luck to Ren in his big game today.

I understand @kalos does not post on his phone so hopefully he is on a cruise and is safe and well.

Good morning. It is cloudy,12°C and misty here at the moment. We watched over seven hours of coronation coverage yesterday and enjoyed it. I hope everyone is well this morning.

Prayers 🙏 to all of the family and friends of those affected by the Dallas Texas Mall shooting last night. So sad at least 9 people have lost their lives.

I love all of the meme's and said so on several occasions but sometimes we have to be careful to be respectful of other countries people and customs. Pauline gets lots of funny memes sent to her which I would never dare post.

We brought Sarah to ours yesterday and had a big dinner last night. Sarah stopped overnight and we had breakfast while watching the coronation. We had some vol au vons with chicken fillings and a few snacks later while watching the coronation

Yes it was a toast rack. It would be great to see you and we would happily take you out for a nice meal.

Our nice meal was last night. We had breakfast at the table with our Sarah who stayed overnight to watch the kings coronation with us today. I'm surprised and upset at your comment.
