  1. Hi all, We were very excited about the second production show on icon being a showcase of the 16 piece band, the largest at sea. Since the launch, I haven’t seen anything about this second production show nor about the largest band at sea. Is this still a thing? Did something happen where the icon is no longer going to have this show with the 16 piece orchestra? Thank you.
  2. Hi all - is there a way to apply the free day of Diamond internet towards a pre cruise wifi purchase? For example, can one of the 7 days of the pre cruise purchase be free? If we wait to purchase it onboard, the Diamond discount would be a wash against the higher onboard internet pricing. Thank you.
  3. Thanks. So it seems that Park n Go would be $50 vs $20x4 OR $80 for parking at the pier. We could drop off the Senior at the pier with either option. Is Park n Go actually time efficient as well? It the shuttle to and from quick and can be on the road fairly quickly after departure vs going the parking at the terminal route?
  4. Hi all, For a cruise on the Liberty of the Seas, we are debating driving to the port and have a few questions. Price aside, what’s the best and quickest way to get in and out of the terminal? Is it the Royal Caribbean terminal parking garage? Ia the garage at the terminal connected to the port? Is it a long walk? If a senior will be with us, is there a way for us to drop her off and then quickly park the car nearby so she won’t be alone for long? Is the latest cruise parking pricing $17 a day? Is it per 24 hours or per actual day? Would we would have to pay for boarding and departure day? Thank you.
  5. Hi all - does anyone have any suggestions for a post cruise day in Vancouver? First time in Vancouver, flight home isn’t until 10pm. We’ll have a full day once we get off the ship. In addition to recommendations, any advise on what to do with our luggage? Thanks!

  7. Thanks! How was the entertainment and live music? Hope you had a great cruise.
  8. Would 20 min early suffice for an ice shoe and Saturday night fever? Or even earlier for good seats?
  9. Hi all - for the short 3-4 day library of the seas shows, are reservations needed? I don’t see an option in the cruise planner. I’m sure the comedy shows won’t be an issue but does the life show and Saturday night fever book up? Do we need to arrive very early? Thank you.
  10. Thanks. Has the 16 piece orchestra been featured in Wizard of Oz or around the ship for anyone who has been? Very curious about the 2nd production show featuring the largest orchestra at sea.
  11. Hi all, I know the icon has 2 ice shows, 2 diving shows and 2 production shows. For production shows, I’ve seen great reviews about the wizard of oz. Does anyone have details and reviews about the other production show? I had read awhile ago the show was going to feature the largest orchestra at sea - a 16 piece orchestra. Thanks.
  12. Does anyone have any info on this? Is the second production show with the 16 piece orchestra still a thing?
  13. Thanks. I didn't see an option for sparkling water on these machines on the Wonder. We clicked around and it was only flavored products.
  14. Hi all, The soda fountains are great. What I was surprised about on the wonder is that there is no button for plain seltzer. I asked around and also pressed around and there’s the option for every imaginable flavor except plain seltzer. I have never seen a soda machine or fountain that doesn’t have a plain seltzer option. Does anyone know if this is the case on all ships?
  15. Hi All - we love live music and are excited to listen to the production shows with the 16 piece orchestra, in addition to hopefully getting to hear the orchestra play around the ship. Has the Icon’s second production show launched yet? I had read that the second production show would be a show featuring the largest orchestra at sea. Thanks.
  16. Thanks so much. If we are able to replace the second guest, do you know if the latest timeframe to do so is 3 days out?
  17. Hi all, I booked a cruise unsure of one of the cabins of two would have the second guest. It was pending if that family member could get off from work. When is the latest we can let RCL know if the second is going to be replaced with someone else? Is it up until days before sailing? When is the latest we can let RCL know if the second guest isn’t able to go, if we want to be able to be refunded taxes and port fees for the second guest? Is it up until the morning of sailing? Thank you.
  18. Hi all, We are going to be sailing on the grand princess in Alaska for a family member’s milestone birthday. Is chef’s table worth the $95pp price, or would we have just as good of a dinner at one of the two speciality restaurants? If we were to do one speciality dining experience over the week, would you recommend chefs table and crown grill? Are both worth it? Is the chefs table menu the same week to week on the grand princess? Is it the same menu on each ship? If it is the same, I’d love to see a recent menu if anyone has one. Thanks so much.
  19. Hi All - does anyone know if the Princess Lodges in Denali and Mt Mckinley have gyms/fitness centers? Hoping to be able to workout and keep in shape while in Alaska. Thanks
  20. Thanks for all the info. If each of us were to book two separate 17 day cruises while onboard at a refundable rate in balcony cabins, would we each get two $150 onboard credits to be able to use on our current sailing? Is the only requirement for the above to put down $100 deposit per person towards the 17 night sailing we want to book? Thank you.
  21. Thanks. Didn't realize a CVP will help with a general customer service issue related to misinformation from Princess' outsourced reservations line. This is not related to the Sun Princess. It is related to very wrong info they told me about being able to adjust pre-cruise land tours, about a refundable vs non-refundable deposit, and about switching sailings and cancelling / rebooking another. A lot relied on and money at stake that was outlaid based on what they advised and confirmed.
  22. I didn't book with a CVP and booked with Princess reservations. I thought I can rely on the info given by Princess' very own in house reservations team. Going forward I will use a CVP or travel agent. Lesson learned not to book with nor rely on with Princess reps and reservation agents state, despite being employed and trained by Princess. In the meantime since I booked direct with Princess and not a CVP or travel agent, how can I get something escalated and speak to someone in the United States to get back money owed and discuss incorrect yet relied upon info provided by Princess? After 8 chats and 18+ hours on the phone, there must be someone to contact who can help within a billion dollar company. Thank you.
  23. Thanks. Princess reservations is all outsourced. Given that I can't go back and book with a different party, I am at a total loss. Issues range from misinfo on deposit refund policy, misinfo to being adjust pre-cruise tours (they can hear this if they pull the calls and have even asked if they can do this), misinfo based on cancelling and rebooking a different comparable cruise - all which now cost us money. Outsourcing and not being able to help customers is one thing. Outsourcing and providing customers absolutely incorrect info with a total inability to resolve situations for relied upon company-provided info is inexcusable.
  24. Hi all - I have never seen a company with such terrible customer service as Princess. All Princess reservations and support seems to be outsourced. Not only this, but they read from a script. They are unable to deal with outlier issues and questions. They have provided us wrong information about bookings and policies. They have promised us resolutions that have gone unfulfilled. They refuse to escalate issues or transfer to a supervisor. And they are absolutely useless. They not only do not help, but I'm better off not speaking with them as they have provided incorrect information that has cost us monetarily. Princess chat is a waste and even less helpful, driving us in circles to contact the 800 number and the 800 number to contact vita chat that I was not told to save for my records as I relied on what was said and proper documentation. Princess also doesn't respond to emails and customer service tickets, nor calls back. I've called the corporate office to be connected to guest resolutions in the united stated / customer relations, to then be transferred to the outsourced reservations desk. They refuse to transfer to the executive office. The need to even have to resort to asking to contact the executive office is unfathomable as these are such simple issues that customer care or a manager should be able to help with if those teams and people existed. Princess is the example of everything gone wrong plus more in customer care. I may never cruise Princess again based on this, but in the meantime just want my issue resolved. We've spent over 20 hours on the phone, 8 chats, 5 contact submission requests - all to no avail and as mentioned are worse off now with incorrect info told and unfulfilled promises relied on. Has anyone else gone through this? I can't imagine I'm the only one. Does anyone have any advice. I do not have more time to waste on this to write a lengthy email describing everything to go to a corporates contact or email address. Is there any way I can get in touch with someone, ideally by phone and I guess by email as a backup, who can help with this chaos? Thanks so much.
  25. Hi All, I am going to be taking a Princess cruise soon. I am also looking to book an 18-21 night Princess cruise 1-2 years from now. I have never done the onboard FCD before for current cruise OBC. If I am debating between a suite on 2 different 18-21 night cruises, can I book a refundable rate for both of them? If I'm willing to outlay the money for two refundable deposits, would I be eligible to receive the $150 current sailing OBC x 2, making it $300pp? A few other questions -Do I need to specify a refundable deposit fare/rate? Do all sailings have refundable deposit rates? -Are there any catches to being able to cancel? If I make a decision a few weeks later, can I request a full deposit credit card refund from Princess (not future cruise credit) and have the deposit money fully refunded to my credit card used to pay for the deposit onboard? Thank you very much.
