Please do yourself a favor and either put the drugs on bedside table into a drawer or maybe one of those plastic shoebox tubs with lid they sell at dollar stores. The last thing you want is Olliver knocking over meds or finding something on the floor that he accidently injests. This was recommended by a Hospice nurse when we did at home hospice for my Dad since their cat spent all day in bed with him.

We ask for table for 2 when we book by phone then I follow up with an email 2 or 3 weeks before cruise with any special requests for location, window, etc. Has worked well for us.

When I was there on Anthem with Independence last Spring, there was plenty of space everywhere, but ships were not full capacity. When I was there on Oasis with 6500 passengers and i think it was Harmony with something like 4000 or 4500 passengers, it was Very crowded everywhere. Long lines for food, drink, bathrooms, etc.

Jolly Pirates Snorkel Cruise
Sunshine3601 replied to Connie8's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We have done the pirate ship excursions in Barbados and St Lucia. The one in Barbados was awesome. We had a really fun day with lots of good snorkeling, swam with sea turtles too. The rope swing on the boat is fun too! We even had a couple renew their wedding vows onboard. Aruba is not known for great snorkeling but it should be a fun day. If this is not a royal excursion, ask the vendor how you get to them from the cruise ship. Remember docking at 8 am usually means first off ship would probably be 830 am -
Holiday Cruise - Presents
Sunshine3601 replied to Coffey cup's topic in Royal Caribbean International
What the heck do you need a crock pot, cookware, etc on a cruise ship. Last thing I want to do on a ship is cook something in my cabin. That's Nuts!!! -
I'm glad you decided to share. We are here for you. I'm sorry to hear about your Mom spiraling out of control but it sounds like you are now getting the help you need so maybe it was a good thing that things escalated with her. Being a sole care giver is very hard and you have been doing a wonderful job with your Mom and should have not feel guilty for calling 911. When Eric's Father and my Father were on Hospice we found the support they offer for both the caregiver and the patient absolutely amazing. It is not easy to watch a loved one deteriorate. Please make sure you take the time you need too! If you are able to just go for a long walk in a park with Olliver while a Nurse or Aide is with your Mom do it. I'm sure Olliver is enjoying your companship too🥰 happy that you found each other. Sending you a big hug and praying that she passes peacefully. ❤

Can you bring food from port back onto ship?
Sunshine3601 replied to klfhngr's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I have seen that and always hope the fruit doesn't go to waste. -
When our shore house was flooded by hurricane Sandy the insurance company tried to tell us they would cover removal of 4 ft of drywall (which was about 6 or 8 inches higher than the water marks). We said No way and demanded they cover removal of all sheetrock and insulation as we did not want to risk having mold issues behind the walls. After some back and forth with the insurance adjuster they agreed.

Bumper Cars part of the Key
Sunshine3601 replied to ihopfar's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I don't recall making reservations for bumper cars on our Anthem sailings. We always just stood in line.
