Happy Birthday Ava. That's so nice they surprised her by decorating her room. That's great she is making some good friends, possibly life-long friends.

We arrived home around 2 pm. No flight delays but soon after we landed the sky fell in and rained heavy for a couple of hours with some winds. I think we lucked out with our 11 am flight out of Boston. I spoke with our neighbor, the cat sitter, she said we had the same weather you had yesterday. She told us we have a very large branch from. Our maple tree that landed behind our shed. Glad it didn't land somewhere else. Eric can deal with it tomorrow while I go back to work. Back to reality. Funny thing happened....we ordered hoagies from Lee's and when we were done eating both Eric and I got up and walked away with plates and cups still on table. About 20 minutes later I walked back thru kitchen and realized we were Not in the WJ or MDR as noone cleaned up after us. Not sure who will make my morning coffee, maybe Wawa.🫠

It is a shame these drivers try to manipulate people. Unfortunately, it has probably worked for them so they keep doing it. We did have a wonderful cruise. We really like the vibe on Serenade and others in this class. To us it feels more like a ship than the Oasis class. Our next booking is for an 11 nighter in January on Anthem. We will enjoy driving to the port.

We disembarked Serenade this morning. Wasn't easy since we had line up for immigration and stood for quite awhile before our line even moved. Then kinda chaotic at the terminal trying to get an Uber as NCL docked here too. While waiting for Uber we were approached by a guy in a big black suv for $25 ride to airport. Said yes, put our bags in then got in back seat, he said oh no it's $65 for airport. Said Nope give our luggage back. He then said $45 and tried to tell us Uber will never show up. We reordered Uber and in 5 mins had a nice ride in a Tesla for $20 plus tip.

Sounds painful 😔 I hope you get relief soon.

I can vouch the sea is angry tonight. We are off the coast of Nantucket now. High winds, heavy rain and rocking and rolling. Quiet night onboard, lots of folks in their cabins.

I'm excited to hear about your trip. Safe travels tomorrow. Looks like flights to and from Phl should be okay tomorrow. It is pouring rain and very windy onboard Serenade tonight. Seas had calmed down a bit this afternoon but really rocking now. Since this was a 12 night sailing we had some new menus. I think they are trying out some new and oldie but goodies for us to prepare for the world cruisers. We have been very happy with our food this whole trip.

I'm sorry to say No Apple Blossom in MDR. I think it may have been in Chops but we both had the cheesecake.

I just googled Bret Baty and I do see the resemblance.

Sue and I finally met this morning in lounge. Our guys were both sleeping due rough seas last night. She is a lovely person🥰 Wish we has met sooner but was really nice to meet today. We chatted for a while.

I wish you the best in your battle with refund. Truly sad to see you have to struggle for something that should be easy.

Currently on Serenade heading up the coast on a 12 night repo cruise from Tampa to Boston with a Sunday morning arrival. 20230922_204946.mp4 We are East of the storm. The wind has picked up as well as choppy seas.

@sgmn. Did you hear about the medical emergency yesterday on CocoCay? A woman was evacuated by a sea plane near the jet ski area near Chill Island. I saw the plane and said to Eric that must be an expensive excursion. I had no idea it was a medical evacuation.

The colors in your iceberg and sunset photos are gorgeous. @sgmn I think tonight and tomorrow are going to be a bit rocky. Should sleep like babies. Happy Anniversary!! We are hoping our flight from Boston to Philly goes as planned. I have to be back at work Monday morning. Do you want to meet somewhere tomorrow? Maybe diamond lounge in the morning?
