Do you happen to know when the current bar staff go on vacation? We board at the end of April and my sad guess is that they will no longer be onboard. Living vicariously through @sid_9169 right now.🍹🥂
I hope that is not true. Last year on the Navigator (February cruise) the concierge set everything up for us, including our UDP dining reservations. Have they changed that policy? Please keep us posted on what you find out.
I was on the Navigator last year in a Grand Suite - no free internet. We leave on a similar cruise on Feb 17th in a GS. I will ask the Concierge when he/she emails.
Sorry, I mean to select a certain casita location. I got my answer from FB. It’s by the bar. 😀 We are on a sold out cruise in February. Yes, the weather could be too cold BUT if the Santa Ana winds kick it it could be great! This was the case last year. I figure book then cancel if the weather is bad. Full cruise = chair hogs.
Who cares if they messed up! Enjoy! 🤗 My TA booked a bunch of rooms on the Discovery but we had already booked the Harmony - great price for Star class so I’m not giving that up!
Yeh my thought too. Again, this is not why we booked this cruise. We did not find out about the eclipse until after we booked. Let me know if you decide to join! Fun party! 😀🥂
It will be visible although that is not the reason why we booked this cruise.

Depending upon where the Captain takes us on our sea days we should be able to see a good % of it.;
I’m sure they could. They would have to invest in a similar system like the Princess Medallion. Yes, it is really cool. You can also see where your friends are onboard similar to find my iPhone or Life360.
Princess does it with their Medallion App ordering. They will bring you drinks/food right to you anywhere on the ship. You order it in the App and they bring it to you (the Medallion tracks your location). They must have special staff assigned to do that though. IMO It would not be feasible for Butlers to do that plus their regular duties.
