Some beautiful pictures Pete , I love cold snowy places and it’s brilliant that you got to watch the whales for so long. We go on Aurora and the same cruise you’re on now but next October so I’m hoping snow will be around then along with the northern lights too, what phone are you taking your pictures on ? I have a IPhone 13 which I take most of my pictures on and then I have a Pentax big camera which I don’t know how to work really so a few YouTube videos I think are in order for then . Glad you’re having a lovely time with your family and we are enjoying your photos and experiences.

Selbourne im really sorry serville didn’t turn out for you both but Cadiz is a lovely place we enjoy very much . Your butter dish is disgusting and I hope you took that further! I’m also a fan on trays and would love them back as I hate repeatedly going back up to get food but on another note we hardly ever eat in the buffet and prefer a more relaxed breakfast if we have one at all . Can I ask you a question about perfumes please 😂 , I don’t know if mrs Selbourne is in to her perfumes or not but if and I say if when passing the perfume shop could you please see if there are any deals on perfumes like buy one get 1 half price like it was last year has my perfumes have become pretty low and I wondered if it would be good to wait until I’m on Aurora soon , please don’t go out of your way to try to find out but if your passing I’d much appreciate it . Hello everyone I’m just wondering to ask on here about Aurora, can anyone tell me if they have a free sauna or steam room on the ship ? Or do we have to pay to enter the spa area to access these ?

We’re off to lanzarote and calling in on a Thursday and watching a few YouTube videos of what to do in Arrecife this time as we have done the north of the island and fire mountain and camels and 1000 palms etc , what I need now is Wowzz to come back on here and give us guidance of what to do as he’s a Lanzarote pro 😁

Sue I’m so sorry to hear John has broken his arm and I hope he’s not in too much pain. I really feel for you at this time with what has been going on and looking after your mum as well , hopefully maybe family or friends could help you for a while , but please try to take care of yourself too and just take 1 day at a time , things will get better again.

We normally do book select and request no upgrades but this is our first saver fare cruise just a inside cabin and I thought I’d give the bidding a try , but the cabin we have been given now we are happy with.

Happy for you selbourne that it’s all going good and I’m enjoying your honesty in everything your writing, re the unfortunate circumstances at the restaurant we would of moved as well and good that you were able too without causing fuss , my MIL always asked me to tell her if she smelled at certain times of her age when dementia became more debilitating and I said I would be honest with her , sometimes when people do have a problem they become immune to their own smell. Were also on Aurora in December on a saver fair and requested late dining so hopefully it’s given as we don’t like eating early while on holiday, if we do get freedom dining I will have a visit to the Md and ask nicely to change so fingers 🤞

Did you get a email to confirm this? I haven’t yet but I’ve now got my assigned cabin so guess unsuccessful.

Good morning it’s 6 o’clock and it’s all quiet outside not a drop of rain but too dark to see any damage yet.

Very very windy here and I can hear the waves crashing on the beach and I’ll expect some trees will be down in the morning, I think it’s going to be at its worst at 2 in the morning by my weather app. Yorkshirephil glad everything went ok for your new hip and hope you’re not in to much pain.

Hi Angel we are certainly going to have to batten down the hatchet these next few days, I love to watch the waves crashing on the beach but I think I’ll give it a miss this time, too much rain so staying in until Friday when we both go to get our flu & Covid shots together. Hope everyone stays safe and stay indoors and I really feel for those out on the sea’s trying to get home safely.

I hope it starts to get smoother for you selbourne and like you we enjoy roast dinners and usually can’t wait to get home to have one because they didn’t have them too much before but now do , I remember being on Ventura the very first storm she experienced at gale force 10 and coffee machines falling of the surfaces and the gym ceiling falling in, not much fun for my 13 year old son who stayed in bed for 2 days . Hope it gets better soon for you all .
