  1. @TxTeach79 I hear you. I avoid those busy decks when I go from aft to forward as much as I can. Here's my preferred/alternative route. From your cabin on deck 14, you can walk all the way forward on that deck to the forward or mid-ship stairs. By walking the full length of the ship on your deck (or deck15) that has only cabins, you will avoid all those crowds. Once you get to the forward stairs, head up to deck 17 and you will be right at the RETREAT pool. Works for me!
  2. Lito is also my friend! Say hi from Donna in Vancouver, from Royal last year, twice! He is great!
  3. @c-boy Have you tried the Honig vs the Chalk hill? Sydney, one of the sommeliers steered me to the Honig at The Catch. I liked it.
  4. @c-boy Enjoy - seven more days! Woo hoo!! I would be grinning like Jo as well.
  5. @trinitygirl Thanks for taking the time to share your pics - food, bumps in the night, small change and all! I love hearing about all things related to your cruise. More days - more fun! Enjoy. Looking forward to hearing about what you choose to do in Turks and Caicos. 🥰
  6. @Cruzingal#9 Same thing happened to us! C101 and C102 were booked. More walking than anticipated, more calories were burned, thankfully! Enjoyed it all nevertheless!
  7. @Jules&Ted I travelled in the forward Premium Suite on Majestic in September/October this year. The suite is huge, especially the bedroom. Sailing on the west coast of North America at that time of year was not too rough; the anchor chain noise was not an issue. The views from the forward window were a nice change from seeing ONLY port or starboard views. The most challenging aspect of these cabins IMO is how far it is to the concierge lounge!
  8. @c-boy What kind of dips might you get to go with those? Cheeses, artichoke or crab dip?
  9. @Saint Greg My go to for morning coffee is also Princess Live midship on deck 7. Much shorter lines usually! Not sure about the bar options there though.
  10. @Saint Greg Thanks for your replies. Your time is greatly appreciated. To answer your latest query - water bottles ARE included in the PLUS package. If the charge is an erroneous one, you can to to Guest Services (GS) to inform them of the unexpected charge, and they will usually reverse it without too much discussion. OR you can also go through CREW CHAT on the app to report the charge.
  11. @Saint Greg Happy for you that have hit your stride with locations on the ship. I am finding your reports very informative. As I will be sailing on the Regal myself in the new year with a simiiar itinerary, I appreciate the details that you are providing. RE-breakfast choices in the dining room. I'm curious to know if you have asked for anything "off-book". IN particular, I am a fan of the James Beard french toast. This crunchy cornflake-crusted version was usually offered on one day as a special - but also as a regular staple on the lunch menu in the last year. From the lunch menus that I have seen posted here, it seems to have disappeared! There appears to be a standard lunch menu now that is the same every day! Is this an accurate observation on my part?
  12. @Saint Greg Did you request an invite and are you paying for this? Usually it costs over $120...not sure of the new cost since there was a price increase in the last few months.
  13. @trinitygirlEnjoy your "suite" breakfast in the specialty dining room! One of my favourite perks of the suites. Sorry to hear about the loss of a port day!
  14. @trinitygirl The host at the door to Sabatini could have the title of Restaurant Manager. Each restaurant usually has one of these. Here's a little tip about when you go to the concierge lounge from your forward cabin. When I left my room, I would head down the hall to the mid-ship stairs and then go up two levels to deck 14. From mid-ship and just beyond, didn't seem so far when I did this. Reverse on the trek back to the cabin. Once I mastered these routes, the long-distance didn't seem nearly so long. Enjoy what awaits you in the lounge each time you go there! I know I did!!
  15. @trinitygirl Be sure to try out the afternoon tea service as well. Love that forward cabin! Even if it is so far away from the concierge lounge! Enjoy...
  16. @LACruiser88 Bon Voyage! Thanks for taking us along. What a beautiful welcome to find in your cabin. Lovely way to start. 💖 Enjoy
  17. @c-boy She's the one who has mastered the "fireworks". Say hi to her from Donna, please. We ate noodles together at the same ramen place in the Ala Moana mall in October. Christina has a photo, I think. Good times! Love them all! Noel is my guy.
  18. Oh, I wish I was there! Hi to all the servers there, in the Reserve Dining Room - Noel, Luciana, Cristina, Camille, Eddie, Gabriel... and the list goes on!
  19. @jwattle Carry on! I'll have what you're having - at Harmony, at Bingo and even sitting by the window watching those wild waves! It's almost HH time here on the wet coast AND in Canada, it's a bit cool here with wind and rain. Keep the fun coming this way, please. Cheers! I'll take a Belle Glos with Luigi or Taesha for today. Maybe a whispering angel for starters. Thank you!
  20. On my last cruise, they called this menu a Gala Dinner. Even without a formal night designation.
  21. @BlerkOne Thank you for all the photos! I can really get excited about this ship now. Sailing from Galveston, like you are. Enjoy your last two days! Thanks for taking the time to share your experiences.
