@Cruzingal#9 Same thing happened to us! C101 and C102 were booked. More walking than anticipated, more calories were burned, thankfully! Enjoyed it all nevertheless!

@Jules&Ted I travelled in the forward Premium Suite on Majestic in September/October this year. The suite is huge, especially the bedroom. Sailing on the west coast of North America at that time of year was not too rough; the anchor chain noise was not an issue. The views from the forward window were a nice change from seeing ONLY port or starboard views. The most challenging aspect of these cabins IMO is how far it is to the concierge lounge!

@c-boy What kind of dips might you get to go with those? Cheeses, artichoke or crab dip?

@Saint Greg My go to for morning coffee is also Princess Live midship on deck 7. Much shorter lines usually! Not sure about the bar options there though.

@Saint Greg Thanks for your replies. Your time is greatly appreciated. To answer your latest query - water bottles ARE included in the PLUS package. If the charge is an erroneous one, you can to to Guest Services (GS) to inform them of the unexpected charge, and they will usually reverse it without too much discussion. OR you can also go through CREW CHAT on the app to report the charge.

@Saint Greg Happy for you that have hit your stride with locations on the ship. I am finding your reports very informative. As I will be sailing on the Regal myself in the new year with a simiiar itinerary, I appreciate the details that you are providing. RE-breakfast choices in the dining room. I'm curious to know if you have asked for anything "off-book". IN particular, I am a fan of the James Beard french toast. This crunchy cornflake-crusted version was usually offered on one day as a special - but also as a regular staple on the lunch menu in the last year. From the lunch menus that I have seen posted here, it seems to have disappeared! There appears to be a standard lunch menu now that is the same every day! Is this an accurate observation on my part?

@Saint Greg Did you request an invite and are you paying for this? Usually it costs over $120...not sure of the new cost since there was a price increase in the last few months.

@trinitygirl The host at the door to Sabatini could have the title of Restaurant Manager. Each restaurant usually has one of these. Here's a little tip about when you go to the concierge lounge from your forward cabin. When I left my room, I would head down the hall to the mid-ship stairs and then go up two levels to deck 14. From mid-ship and just beyond, didn't seem so far when I did this. Reverse on the trek back to the cabin. Once I mastered these routes, the long-distance didn't seem nearly so long. Enjoy what awaits you in the lounge each time you go there! I know I did!!

@trinitygirl Be sure to try out the afternoon tea service as well. Love that forward cabin! Even if it is so far away from the concierge lounge! Enjoy...

On my last cruise, they called this menu a Gala Dinner. Even without a formal night designation.

Yes. Recent change. Believe it. Different ships rolled out the changes on different dates starting mid August. Changes initiated from corporate...not individual ships' decisions. Alfredos is no longer free without a Plus or Premier package. The charge varies for three courses, or just a pizza, or appetizer, or dessert only- if you paid the standard fare. @Saint Greg I am only the messenger. Trying to help you.

@Saint Greg Previously Alfredos did not have a charge. Now, there is a user fee. Plus includes two visits to casual restaurants. Alfredos is one of these. I think Vines is also now on the list of casual restaurants and it is for the tapas offered there. This also used to be included without a charge. Changes came about this year...recently.
