We have been on the Pride two times recently and thoroughly enjoyed both cruises. We like the layout of the ship and even the decor! Yes she is showing her age but we didn’t think she was awful. I do remember doing a little of my own cleaning on the Balcony which of course one should not have to do but not the end of the world. We have her booked for TA October 2023 and maybe the “rust” will be covered by then. I usually see things like that but have got to say I didn’t notice it. I remember coming back from a cruise on the Legend a few years ago and suggesting to our PVP she shouldn’t put a new Carnival cruiser on it due to rust! Anyway, enjoy, wish it was us.

Can you put the Code in manually? I never seem to find a place to try it. Or can you only use it if listed in Offers?

Yes it is a very new Yacht. One thing she did mention was that the last two days (they went from Dubrovnik to Athens) were fairly rocky, much more than their Scenic River Cruises in the past. She is not prone to seasickness but was somewhat “uncomfortable” and continued to feel the motion once disembarked. All that to say, perhaps make sure you have Dramamine should you need it.

Daughter’s experience included wine and beer at mealtimes. I asked her about other drink pricing and she said “we didn’t buy any separately so I’m not sure … I think not outrageous.”

Daughter and husband home from cruise on Azzurra, son-in-law said food was the best they have had on any cruise in the past, he “loves” his food and daughter is gourmet-type cook, high praise for Azzurra’s offerings.

For first time cashed in 20,000 points for two $100 Carnival Gift Cards. Asked for “digital delivery.” I got an email with a confirmation number that said delivery would be in 7-10 business days. Is this the way it goes? I expected two cards by email.

I agree. And if you go to the dining room for breakfast and order “house granola” it is a cup or bowl (depends on server I suppose) of mainly nuts, wonderful nuts, i always say no milk, very similar to nuts in yogurt parfait, the nuts are so unique and varied that if you purchased such a package in a store it would be very pricey. Love it!

Megan, glad to hear that, will miss checking in with you every day, but will “see” you again in 12, I cruise along with you and it is so much fun, thank you.

One person suggested as a Brit you may want to bring your own tea bags. They have Lipton so I (Canadian in past life) would suggest you will be fine with it, unless you need Red Rose!

Megan, as in the past, thoroughly enjoying your postings and appreciate you taking time to let me cruise along with you, you have a “way” with words and pictures, love it.

I suggest easiest is slot machines. You take $25 out of you account while sitting at the machine then play the machine, but if just playing to get OBC in your hands don’t go below say $20.00, then hit cash out button and you will get a voucher to take to casino cashier. I suggest just trying $25 first to make sure you can indeed cash out. We have never had trouble with this method.

We did a TA Barcelona to NYC couple years ago. We did not plan to tour Barcelona so only went in one day ahead, just to be safe. We took a Cab from airport to hotel then hotel to cruise port next morning. We were able to walk to a mall and purchased “beverages” to take on board. There is also a store inside Barcelona cruise terminal to purchase beverages.

First try it with a small amount - take $25 from account and after possibly losing $5 on the slots cash out - you should get a voucher to cash in. That is what we did, made sure it worked before taking more $ from account. We then ended up cashing out the remainder. Also bought the large diffuser, love it.

And I would suggest they are the fastest / most available elevators on the Seashore.

Used it several cruises since November 2021.

Cancelled a September 2022 cruise three weeks ago and refund showed up on my credit card a couple days ago, was pleased.

Not sure if this mentioned as I didn’t read through entire thread. You can choose two Appetizers although we have found the staff most recently never tell you that. At one time soups/salads were listed separately so people knew to choose one from each category. Now all Appetizers are in one list and you can choose two.

Happened to me with a last minute booking - take proof of Shares with you, go to desk when not busy, they will communicate with the “people” who handle this - we saw credit within 24 hours.

We cruise frequently and I keep a close watch on my Offers. Recent Offers not bad but not really great either. Signed in to daughter’s account as she never signs in, her last cruise was late 2019, to check her Offers, she has some I wish I could use, should never have looked!
