  1. That is terrible! I hope Royal cracks down on this behavior and holds all accountable (parents too).
  2. I was at hooked this week and well waiting for the check I was browsing on Facebook and saw a picture of the dining room crème brûlée and said to my mom, that looks good. Our waiter happened to over hear me and asked if I’d like one, he offered to run to the dining room to get it. I declined, as I felt that was not right, but they are willing to do things like that. By the way - the steak at hooked was so good! For non seafood eaters there is a nice salad they can get with chicken too.
  3. I typically swing by the mdr on the first day after I’ve made all my upd reservations to let them know I won’t be there.
  4. Great review so far. I've been on Symphony once and will be on it again 2/11. I also have the unlimited dining so it's nice to hear your experience this week. Enjoy the rest of your cruise and thanks for letting all of us follow along.
  5. There are freestyle machines on the promenade, windjammer and by the food on deck 15. You can also get fountain soda from any bar or in the main dining room.
  6. I was on odyssey and loved that. No the symphony doesn’t have the ledge your talking about. the picture doesn’t make it clear what the op is asking. It’s within the actual pool, about two feet down, not the overflow area on top.
  7. I received an email to bid at least a week ago for my February 11th cruise.
  8. I’m glad dinner was good, it certainly looks good. Do you know if they allowed people to order the steak with the lobster tail? I typically did that in the past, hoping it’s still possible.
  9. I dined here on Allure in September and we were there about an hour and a half. It was a great experience and I enjoyed it.
  10. I went on Harmony and enjoyed the experience however I don’t plan to go back. I’ve booked the unlimited dining plan for my next cruise on Symphony and I’d rather repeat one of the other places.
  11. As others have said, they are very similar. Personally I like Symphony better than Harmony.
  12. I cruised in September, it was my first cruise as Emerald. I had a room by myself and they left me three bottles of water but no snack. I assumed I got the third bottle instead of cookies, which was great. My family in the next room were 2 diamonds and they got 4 bottles of water and cookies. I would assume she’d get two bottles of water but who knows…
  13. I did this back in 2019. They had a secure area they stored luggage at bayside. They gave me a tag to collect my bags. We were directed to studio b to meet for our excursion, we then walked out together to the bus. Our luggage was collected somewhere in here. We had a time to be back at bayside and they advised where to meet. When we went over, I pointed out my bags and they were loaded onto the bus that took us to the airport. It’s been a few years so I’m not describing it well, but it did go smooth.
  14. You will get a $20 credit for playmakers per visit. That is per person with the package.
  15. Every time we’ve booked the balcony guarantee, it’s the neighborhood balcony. I recommend calling if you don’t see the ocean view balcony listed.
  16. I stayed in room 1282, a grand suite, on Freedom last year and I had no issues with noise. It was quiet and a convenient location. I wouldn’t hesitate to book a room in that location again.
  17. Are they serving all the good on the menu during the brunch hours? I hate breakfast food, so I’d love to order a burger when they open.
  18. I cruised last fall with a friend and we had separate credit cards. We had called and received an OBC when the price went down. It was all showing under me, the first name. We stopped at guest services and they split it between us.
  19. It took a week after my last few cruises for the points to update.
  20. I attended my first captains corner on the odyssey in April. It was really interesting so I made sure to attend the one on Harmony in May. I hope they are doing them on more ships, I’m on Allure this month and would like to attend.
  21. They are putting limits to the number of ships/passengers but not closing the port. They had talked about really strict limits (1000 passengers) but it was revised to 3500-3800 depending on month.
  22. In Aruba I like palm beach. It’s by all the high rise hotels.
