Saint Greg's Venezia Transatlantic May 29, 2023
Andi Land replied to Saint Greg's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
Enjoying the review. Barcelona looks fabulous. Planning to visit in 2025. Can’t wait to hear about the ship itself. And I’ll echo what someone else said, oftentimes the hotel will have an adapter you can borrow for the evening. -
Koningsdam 7071 review May 6-13 2023
Andi Land replied to bluesplayer's topic in Holland America Line
We were in 7069 a year or so back. When I submitted my review to HalFacts with my room pics, I commented on how noisy it was and that I would not book that area again. We had the same issue as you did. It was awful. -
I didn’t have it listed in my onboard account for my casino offer but was able to add it thru this link https://www.hollandamerica.com/en_US/deals/have-it-all/have-it-all-upgrade.html ETA: the link worked a few days ago. Now it says it’s having problems and to check back 🤦♀️

Private sale price does not come up when booking
Andi Land replied to Level six's topic in Holland America Line
I can’t see my private fares or my casino offers. Neither of them are coming up for me anymore. I don’t know what changed. -
California Coastal on HAL - what's it like on board?
Andi Land replied to lupaglupa's topic in Holland America Line
We were also on this cruise and agree with what you’ve said. We stayed on for the second week and went to Mexico and that was a better experience. -
Observations from the Poop Deck Nieuw Amsterdam
Andi Land replied to morpheusofthesea's topic in Holland America Line
The promenade deck is one of my favorite features of HAL. I like to go out and just walk at a leisurely pace with the breeze blowing all around. It’s lovely! -
HA vs. Princess : recent comparisons.
Andi Land replied to blueexpedition29's topic in Holland America Line
Thanks for this! We booked NCL for next August and we’ve never sailed them. The itinerary looks like a great one we haven’t found anywhere else (Iceland, Greenland that is RT Reykjavík). So, the fact you’ve sailed them twice recently gives me hope I’ve chosen wisely. -

Saint Greg's Magic Super Bowl cruise - Live - February 11-19

Way back in my younger days I worked at Jack in the Box. The number of people who’d come in and order a cheeseburger with no cheese was startlingly high. 😂 -
We didn’t need the boarding pass for week two when we did B2B in November.

The itineraries are now available to book. And yes, Bar Harbor has been removed from most itineraries but not all of them.

Unable to get satisfaction or anything from Customer Relations
Andi Land replied to trtog7's topic in Holland America Line
If it was sent to the old card you should be able to call the credit card issuer and have them send you a check for the credit. I’ve had to do that before. -
FOR YOUR 2023 CRUISING DOLLAR, DOES X MARK THE SPOT?
Andi Land replied to Spif Barwunkel's topic in Celebrity Cruises
By offering the Move Up option, it’s not necessarily a “dilution.” They have rooms that wouldn’t be used if left unsold. By selling the max capacity, they don’t dilute the product, they are making it what the expectations is for a fully loaded ship. We may not like it as passengers when it’s more full but more full does not equal dilution. Also, the Move Up option is in place to hopefully hook people into booking higher categories then they normally would. Say I normally book an ocean view but get a Move Up offer to a balcony and absolutely fall in love with balcony rooms that means that for my next tip I’m automatically going to look at pricing for the balcony to see how I can swing it. It’s a good business model for them. Hope you have a fantastic time in the Retreat. And please do come back and share with us your experience. I always like to know everyone’s take on these things. -
I noticed the 2024 Voyage of the Vikings is on the Zuiderdam. So, my guess is Zuiderdam will do Canada New England. Hopefully they add a smaller ship to that area as well since it’s where I’d like to go in 2024.

I tested positive pre cruise in August. I wanted to book a replacement cruise in November and called and explained that. They processed my credit right away and applied it to the November cruise.
