Of course there are many rumors, I remember a discussion a while back where it was alleged that there would be a popup or warning when your card gets swiped alerting staff that you opted out of gratuities. Nobody was ever able to prove if that's true or not. In the end I think most people who opt out, do so to be cheap and save money, give the steward 20 bucks and be done with it.
I came to the conclusion (for myself) that I like the autotips but since AQ/CC are already being charged more, I'm not spreading more cash around either.
I have never seen any sort of pop up like that but I have seen that the room Steward has which tells them who has elected to remove auto tips.

I have a small wallet sized card the Casino staff gave me while on the Summit last week with the steps to take cash from the slot machines and it worked like a charm:
Tap your Seapass Card
Choose Account option
Touch Personal Banker button
Enter 4 digit PIN (your Month and Day of Birth)
Touch Transfer to Game button
Select Promo ($)
Select amount "Other" button (this is where you enter your on board Credit amount)
then hit CASH OUT and take ticket to Casino cashier
This works on most Celebrity ships - I also did this recently on the Silhouette and Equinox with no issues.
I believe that it doesnt work on Reflection

They Always take the nonrefundable first.

Lets flloat back to PUP and start New threads for posts about Princess or MSC or any other line.
Has anyone actually gotten the points for booking a flight by Celebrity during the offer period?

I also have an adjoining cabin question for the Beyond. We are in adjoining IV cabins. Can the doors between be propped open? Thank you!
Are they adjacent or are the rooms described as connecting? Which room numbers are they?

It used to be possiible but since January 1, who knows.
But as to gluten-free options, definitely discuss this with the maître d’ and your waiter and they will tell you which things on the regular menu are OK for you

You are unable to make reservations in blu because blu does not take reservations….it is all open seating

Some countries require visas or residents of certain countries but not for others. I imagine it would be much too complicated for Celebrity to list all the various combinations and permutations

To be honest - If you are in Concierge and below you have some good perks - Free High Speed Internet, Free Premium Drink Package and Free Laundry, no room service fee.
If in a suite you pretty much loose everything as you are forced to buy an all inclusive and the only perk is Free Laundry. If in an Upper Suite you have the same benefit that a CC Preview Member would have.
My understanding from the other fourm is they have also taken away the premium toiletries and Robes in non-suites
Welcome to the new world of Zenith.
I wouldn't trust the other forum. Upgraded toiletries are still a thing on Equinox

Without knowing what ports you are interested in it’s pretty hard to give advice about the excursions

In many ports, when you get off the tender at the dock area, there are tour operators waiting there who will sell tours you on the spot. Is the same thing True in Santorini?

It all becomes part of a single booking in the end

Not Celebrity’s choice to be inconsistent. Each port has its own rules.

Celebrity used to offer “extend your stay” in some ports. For a fee you could hang out at the pool, have lunch On board. It was regularly available in Europe and I think they tried it in the US from a couple of ports on trial basis, but it is a no more

Equinox is not done any dance classes, Probably because the cast is brand new and hasn’t had a chance to settle in yet
Summit and silhouette had dance classes run by members of the production cast.
-
Its always wise to double check but the on board staff ARE given a kist of continuing passengers. Someone might be inadvertently omitted once in a while though.

I remember those days with lunch at the bistro on 5–lovely soup and sandwich for back-to-back passengers.

Have they discontinued the sandwiches and scones in the Oceanview at 4pm daily?
Yes they have
-
Having the lunch for the back-to-back guests in the ocean view would rather defeat the purpose, wouldn’t it?

Probably not because you won’t be on their list of back to back passengers. Your sideways transfer isn’t quite the same as back to back on the same ship, which is what that lunch is designed for

Ask yourself, what do you like to do at home? For us, we like to watch movies (So we download some and cross our fingers that there might be something showing on the ship that we’d like to see), I knit while listening to audio books (so we bring along several projects and books to listen to) we go to the gym (reluctantly but at least on the ship there’s an interesting view) we both write (poetry and short stories now but i’m thinking about a novel) talk on line to friends and family. So we do all of those things on the ship.
There are things we do on the ship that we would never do at home, like take dancing lessons.
What we don’t like to do is shop for food and cook for ourselves. So the ship is a perfect fit. We don’t go to the shows but I enjoyed listening to the singers around the ship and the various bars. Sometimes we even dance

In South America, the dinner service is often pushed later because passengers from their prefer to eat later and that pushes the shows later too, but they are still coordinated so you can have your dinner and see the show both
