  1. Can anyone that has booked the 2025 WC tell me what the cancellation fee is for up to 181days prior to departure. I am looking at this cruise and I have been told that it is 10% of cruise price. This seems high since The same fee for the 2024 WC was $250. Thanks
  2. Currently on Serenity, and today’s Reflections states hat the Bistro is open until 6pm .
  3. Just to be clear is the hotel the same for both cruise lines. thanks
  4. Cartagena 12 people the Alhambra 23
  5. Have you taken into account inflation. How can we you compare 2018 prices with 2023 prices? In 2018 a dozen eggs was 2$ and now 5$ . currently on board. We did a tour in Carthaginian of the Roman ruins. Price 79$ 4 hours long, excellent guide.. qpr very good. A tour of the Alhambra included dinner 250$. This tour took 8 hours due to travel time. Now the tours we have setup in Iceland are expensive. However, I attribute that to being in Iceland. also, if I don’t want to take a tour . I don’t have to . For that reason,I dislike cruises with included tours. Again choice is good.
  6. Currently on board, we have noticed some wines that were on our last cruise, January 2022. In particular a 2018 C Reserve Pinot Noir. IMO it is drinking well. Unfortunately it is the only Pinot Noir on the inclusive list at this time. I’m sure in time this will change and there will be more choices. Last evening we had a 2018 Chateau Macquin , which we enjoyed and this may become our go to default red wine. At least for the time being we are enjoying every minute of this cruise. It is good to be home.
  7. Just curious, do you cruise and if so which cruise line Or do you just criticize.
  8. My post was intended to merely point out a fact which may or may not affect one’s choice in booking the classic or a newer suite. And thank you, We will enjoy every minute of this cruise.
  9. I am currently in a classic Aquamarine suite. There are two outlets that will accept 120v. Both at the desks. As an aside, neither the carpet or the furniture was replaced. Both have seen better days. With all of the renovations, this seems to be the easiest to do. And several guests that I have talked to feel the same way. Still happy to be on Crystal even with worn carpet. Umi last pm was great as usual. It is a beautiful room. Looking forward to trying Osteria.
  10. Keith, Bon Voyage. I hope to meet you on the ship. Bags are being packed as I write this.😁😁😁
  11. I believe that is the Saphire suite. Keith just posted the Aquamarine
  12. Well as I read the menu, I states that it is a tasting menu for Northern and Southern Italy. So I agree with Anne Marie.
  13. Received 10am central time 😁😁😁
  14. Thanks, Keith I guess we’ll find out shortly 😁
  15. I wonder if NC will have gratuity cards available at the end of each cruise, as OC did. For the most part this will help help with tipping without an exchange of cash.
  16. Tuckertoots, thanks for the information. That creates an issue as I do not travel with a lot of cash. So I guess my only option is travelers checks.
  17. History and Wine. I totally agree. And the addition of tasting menus sounds very interesting, especially with the wine pairings. In a way it could be a mini Vintage room experience. We are very excited about the addition of Osteria to the restaurant line up on Crystal. And we will be trying it in August.
  18. Just received Happy Days😁😁😁😁😁😁
  19. We are booked on Serenity’s inaugural cruise and BTBTBTB, as well as the 2024 WC. We were scheduled do do the WC on OC. So, now it is happening 😁. Looking forward to the 2025 itineraries so we can finally get back on Symphony. 36 days until we sail. 😁. This is exciting.
