  1. While on board this summer ,there was talk of renovation of the Classic suites. And that these would be finished in time for our November cruise.
  2. The visa application process is fairly straightforward . Just follow the instructions especially when scanning your passport. Cost 20$ US..
  3. Thank you for the clarification
  4. So are you saying that Sapphire is considered PH but Aquamarine is not? And it appears that the milestone awards are the same as 2019 Thanks
  5. Thanks Kieth, now since you know the right people to call, can you clarify if Aquamarine and Saphire are considered ph category or are the only ph categories Crystal penthouse and Junior penthouse as I was told by the Crystal rep.
  6. Kieth, the Crystal representative was using the term points. I had never heard that before. And according to him ,if we use your scenario, you use your 40 cruises for a milestone. Now you have zero left and on your next cruise you now have one and start all over again. Who knows if he knows what he is talking about. I will definitely clarify in January on Serenity.
  7. I just got off the phone with a Crystal rep and my TA concerning redeeming our 40th milestone award. According to the rep. If We use the shipboard credit on our next cruise in January, the # of points that we now have will be reduced by 40. And since we currently have 43segments ie points, after taking the milestone we will be left with 3 points. If this is in fact the case I will wait . This is different from OC. Also, according to his rep. The Aquamarine and Saphire suites are not considered PH in calculating the monetary value of the Milestone awards. At this time I will not be claiming the 40th milestone award and will discuss this Matter with Paula Jean next month. Also, anyone claiming an award needs to be aware of this apparent change before claiming the award. FYI, the Crystal rep is Eric.
  8. Kieth, Now I realize why it is a slow process. ThankYou for your efforts. If it is not fixed by embarkation, We will have ample opportunity to experience the speciality restaurants over a span of 140 days. The important thing is that Crystal is back. We are grateful for that. Joe
  9. Keith, Unfortunately the system continues to recognize a pax who is booked on the 2024 WC as booking one cruise . Therefore, we are unable to book specialty restaurants beyond the first segment. I thought that this would have been rectified by now considering that we embark in 46 days. I have a feeling that I will be on board speaking with Paulo/ Mario before this is rectified. Disappointed in NC.
  10. My advice is to bring your own. If you feel that you really need a walking stick.
  11. Currently booked on WC 2024. Interesting, I can make reservations for tours . Are you booked on a cruise? Or are you just suggesting that tours cannot be booked. As far as entertainment is concerned . Do you book a cruise because of the entertainment or on the basis of ports and the experience you will have on Crystal? Personally. I feel that if you liked the entertainment on old Crystal, you will enjoy what is offered on NC .And although I would like to know if John Joseph is on . I would not be disappointed if Steve Stevens was on instead. In other words, try a cruise and then make your own opinion.

    Osteria

I agree got to Osteria with an open mind. We were fortunate to have tried Osteria seven times as we were on several btb cruises on Serenity this year. We in essence worked our way thru the menu much the same as we did with Prego . We had our favorites at Prego and we feel that we have found the dishes that we like and will order at Osteria. And May B, next time, do try the lamb.
  13. Keith, thank you. It shouldn’t have to be this difficult. But it is what it is. sixty two days until embarkation 😁
  14. First, I didn’t ask Kieth to contact Crystal. Second, I did tell my TA about the issue of making additional restaurant reservations . I’m sure she will follow up on this. Third , I personally called Crystal and I have posted Crystal’s response.
  15. Kieth, thank you on behalf of all the world cruisers.
  16. LoveBora, you are correct. Those on segments 3,4 will be able make reservations before the world cruisers. Mario/ Paolo will be very busy in Miami making reservations for the specialty restaurants for world cruisers. But not to worry. The person I spoke with said that with such a long cruise ,I would have ample time to visit the specialty restaurants . Also, there is always the ability to book Tastes. I don’t believe this will effect cruise credits. But I guess that is another question. On the bright side. Sixty-nine days until we cruise😁
  17. LoveBora, I just got off the phone with Crystal on board services concerning specialty restaurants reservations for the WC. I was informed that the 2024 WC is considered one segment. So you are entitled to two bookings on that segment and you must wait until embarkation for additional reservations on the remaining segments. When I enquired about being able to book 90 days out for each subsequent segment,I was told that was not the policy . Se La vie
  18. We embark in Miami. So only able to book first segment. And I agree, if the rule of 90 days out is valid then we should be able to book the second segment . thanks for your reply. I will call Crystal.
  19. LoveBora, have you been able to make specialty reservations for the second segment of the WC. It is less than 90 days out. I tried andIt won’t let me.
  20. We are also on the 24WC and are able to make tour reservations. However, we cannot make dining reservations in specialty restaurants beyond the first segment. I have contacted crystal last week and as of today there has been no reply. I assume that the computer Is recognizing the whole WC as one segment. Are you having the same problem?
  21. Likewise, check received and deposited.
  22. I am in total agreement with you on the classic Aquamarine suite . We spent several back to back cruises in one recently and there was ample storage space. we will return to the same suite for the 24WC. I also liked the classic Sapphire over the 2023 renovation. Again the above is just my opinion.
