  1. Did you enjoy your Coral P cruise, Les? We were thinking of you😊
  2. Thanks, Les. We are indeed enjoying this cruise. Just gliding through Stockholm’s beautiful archipelago to dock soon. No pies so far, and all these posts are making me homesick😋
  3. That’s a bit pov, Les. GF is much in demand.
  4. Red Ginger last night. I had almost forgotten how exquisite Oceania’s cuisine is
  5. We absolutely devoured the most delicious of Belgium's traditional fare for lunch in Gent today: mussels, hot chips (fries for those on the eastern side of the Pacific) washed down with a refreshing cold ale. Bliss on steroids😋
  6. Julie, the seafood pie looks and sounds delicious. Thanks for posting these great photos.
  7. We’re looking forward to that so much. We found it fascinating last time
  8. Thanks, Marion, and yes, Baltic. We’ve sailed the Baltic before, but this is a slightly different itinerary. The real attraction is Portsmouth and return. So much easier when we want to spend time in Cornwall, which we’ll do after the cruise. Using cruise credits from our Covid- cancelled 2020 cruise is an even bigger incentive😊
  9. In Portsmouth, boarding Oceania’s Sirena in a few hours. So exciting to be cruising again after three long years.
  10. Cruising again today, very excited to be boarding Oceania’s Sirena in a few hours. How are all the Princess cruisers enjoying their adventure?
  11. We are in awe of the people queueing in such an orderly and friendly manner, for so very long. It’s 6.30am here now, but last night before we fell asleep in our comfortable Portsmouth hotel, the estimated waiting time was 23 hours. Most who were briefly interviewed said it was their way of expressing their thanks. I feel truly humbled. Amazing people.
  12. He really did, and still looked perfectly groomed when he reached Westminster Hall. Some wag said there was a queue in the queue to greet Beckham.
  13. The people in the queues are inspirational: their patience, their reverence, their sense of gratitude to a beloved Queen. The current queue length, according to the BBC roving reporter just now: eight miles💂🏻🇬🇧💔
  14. Thanks, Marion. I’m feeling incredibly emotional as I watch the precision and the pageantry.
  15. Thanks, Leigh. Yes, a moment in history. I think I always believed she would live forever.
  16. We just arrived at London Heathrow with all our luggage. Tis a miracle🍀
  17. Yes, a short stroll to the lake. It’s a vibrant village community, and we love being part of it.
  18. Correct. Each succeeding monarch faces the opposite direction from the previous. This means Charles will be facing backwards. I offer no comment.
  19. It must be exciting working at The Realm and living in DFAT😉
