  1. They do have access to internet for free for the app and intranet to Celebrity Website. I believe it also works for the app messaging but that's about all
  2. Terry - try checking https://www.flightview.com/airport/MIA-Miami-FL/delay They show pretty good real time on what's going on at airports. Currently only 40% taking off on time and about 70% of arrivals on time. At the top of the screen you can click real time delays for both Arrivals and Departures. You can also filter by Airlines
  3. While some may say no it also can depend on if you are in an Upper Suite and also on your particular Butler. In upper suites Ive had butlers insist that he run down to the laundry and get our jackets pressed he was however an exceptionally good butler and was rewarded for his attentive service. We were in a RS recently and Chic night was on the Second Day. We asked him to have our jackets pressed and he said they would have to charge us the 50% extra for same day. He was a rather disappointing butler on many levels. I said I didn't care. We were never charged.
  4. Not sure if it is on the website. Just ask your agent or Celebrity and they apply it.
  5. I would and have in the past. Unfortunately they are only being offered in less than Suite Class (some reports also doesn't apply to Aqua. For us that are Zenith's we already getting free Premium Drink Package, Internet so paying for something we already get with the AI My suggestion is to calculate what you use and what you don't and compare the price. Often the perks save money but if you don't drink or only have a couple drinks a day it might be a good option.
  6. We had the same on Silhouette in April. I suspect since they weren't taking cards and just asking for room numbers there were transposition of room numbers or just written down wrong. All of them were Zero charges but on occasion I knew we didn't visit the places that were being recorded.
  7. I suspect Day 3 - They did a bad job on the app for this cruise but if you look at 5:00 PM on activities they have Formal Portraits planned in the Front Foyer. (only done on Chic Nights) Other nights at 5:00 they state Smart Casual I was surprised you have no sea days and the menus didn't feature anything special on Day 3
  8. Repricing doesn't trigger a NRD penalty. You really aren't changing your booking just having it repriced. I did a couple times and never had a penalty. Make sure you understand that you may loose a perk or two. See if the perk is worth more than the $200
  9. Could be. As the ship is nearing port I think I would be more concerned about airlines delays and cancellations. Last I looked only 40% of flights were arriving on time. They usually like to get planes out of the area before the heavy winds hit.
  10. My doctor while in the UK indicated that if still in my system my viral load would be so low after 5 days that I was free to come out of quarantine with or without a mask. But then again UK had dropped all regulations even the requirement that I quarantine even for the 5 days. I was infected over a month ago and have tested negative both PCR and Antigen so feel pretty safe we aren't infectious.
  11. You didn't indicate if you booked with Celebrity or with an Agent. If with an agent they should sort it out for you. If Celebrity give them a call and discuss and also ask them about cancellation. Not sure if you booked after the Cruise With Confidence cut offs. If still covered by Cruise with Confidence you could cancel up to 48 hours prior to sailing. Also make sure you understand if there are any penalties if you happen to have a NR deposit.
  12. Even though they say if you tested plosive you are "immune for at least 3 months", I've pulled out my N95's and started wearing again both inside and when close to others.
  13. Last time I took one of the tests I was at an AirBnB and I setup everything on a cocktail table sitting on the floor I could easily point my phone with the aid of a book or two to cover both the test in front of me about a foot lower than my head and keep the test in view. Was the easiest test I did. When she asked if I had taken a test before and I said yes she asked if I was comfortable withe speeding it up instead of her having to give me detailed instructions. Worked for me.
  14. I was just checking on Cruise Mapper - She is currently North East of Key West and traveling at 22-23 Knots. I"m sure the Captain is taking care of her and the passengers.
  15. They would usually contact you by e-mail on file as well as text from your online booking. When the Covid Shut down began we got a text just as we touched down in FLL. I have also received similar text when checkin was delayed due to deep cleaning.
  16. My experience has been similar. If I send it out before 9:00 AM I get it back next day. I usually leave it out in the evening and the butler gets it either that evening or next morning when he deliverers breakfast. I've heard of some taking 2 days but haven't experienced that on Silhouette, Equinox and Medellin
  17. Oooops my turn around is actually in Reykjavik, Iceland. Brain freeze as I was working on a Greenland tour also. We will visit all the ports 2x with the exception of Reykjavik. Not much available for short tours.
  18. It's really worth it. I found 3 that I had lost track of. The website also has a portal where you can apply them yourself to any reservation.
  19. A possible solution might be what I use to do. Iain had much more vacation time them me so I would just take the time off WITHOUT PAY. In my mind it was a win - win
  20. I suspect that the number of recent cases are related to the current strain of the virus. My understanding is that even though milder symptoms it is more virulent. We are currently having a surge in Northern California (SF Bay Area) and have today surpassed the Fall Surge. One of our 5 Counties imposed indoor mask requirements today. I would have to agree with your statement that if they tested all passengers at 7 days or even upon disembarkation you would see a much higher covid count. I was surprised to hear from so many that had tested positive after leaving the ship.
  21. I would like to add on a slightly different scenario if it's ok. Does anyone know the All Aboard Time for B2B Passengers on turn around day. We have a B2B in Greenland and have a 4PM departure so was wondering latest I could get back as we want to do a short 3 hour excursion that starts at 11:30. The port is about a 30 minute walk to town but a short taxi.
  22. Not quite following your logic of paying a $3,200 deposit. I travel almost exclusively in CS and above and have never paid more than $900 in deposits, When booking on board I've often but not always had a $800 deposit. I had a price adjustment yesterday on a CS for a 2023 New Zealand Cruise. No additional deposit than originally booked with but I picked up an additional $100 OBC
  23. In my experience with a rescheduled cruise - yes. The just issue you another FCC. Good thing is the new rules - FCC's don't have an expiration date whether old or new.
  24. I'm sure it wasn't a mistake. The agent told me they refunded them immediately upon testing positive. The amount of the expected refund for the cancelled cruise given was exactly the price I paid less the Port and Taxes. It was only about $203 so I didn't even notice it when it hit my account while I was still in Europe. For me it was pretty easy to figure out how the cruise was paid for. I did a search on my credit card for Celebrity and could see the full Credit Card Payment for the cruise less the deposit. Luckily I burnt off all of our FCC's in October. For me I lost all my OBC's except one. I had a special OBC that had been applied due to a problem in October and they moved that $800 to my August Cruise.
