We haven’t got that season yet ,when is it due to be released? Usually around April /May ? Looking at Brisbane sales compared to Sydney. I think they may pull Quantum out of Brisbane and deploy it with Ovation in Sydney. Maybe a Voyager class in Brisbane? Navigator ? Sydney needs more capacity,especially with the Chinese tourists back on the scene,a lot of Chinese this season. One cruise they even had announcements in Chinese.

Be tempted but be smart. I have done 2 /10 night cruises ,both times my bill was about $130 U.S. I did a 7 night cruise and my bill was $27 and they scrapped it.

I thought the Carnival brands use local currency. Just to note RCG only give a exchange rate of 51 cents . So if you go to guest service and say I want to settle my account with $AU they are only going to give you US 51 cents to a $AU.. Charge it to your credit card and get your credit card to convert it.

I think it’s only RCG brands. I can’t understand why everyone panics about the $US .Just about everything in bought before the cruise in Australian peso. Just buy as little as possible onboard.

Maybe it’s the beetles are attracted to the blue hull of Ovation and Quantum? And possibly repelled by the rust on P&O ships ?

True,it is the passengers are the ones , no compensation as in port fees or $50 OBC. Royal Caribbean share holders wouldn’t give a rat’s.

The visitors centre isn’t very well posted,I just stumbled on it walking back from the maritime museum. They where very helpful there ,I think it used to be in coconut square . The new esplanade and the shops should be quite nice once the get some more restaurants and bars . A alternative to lemon bay.

Quantum has missed Mystery Island again today. Mystery island is the highlight of the pacific . Between Ovation and Quantum I think there has only been one successful visit this season. I wonder if somehow it’s connected to Lelepa?
