    What I’m saying is Singapore could have spectrum for 6 months and Wonder for the other 6 months.

    Yes you can buy it in 24 hour blocks. A lot of people like to get it at about noon and it’s valid until lunch the next day , so you are kind of getting 2 days.

    Royal is still on about Wonder coming to Australia. It wouldn’t be here year round and the only place for it in March to October is Singapore.

    I think there’s still a chance of Wonder coming to the Pacific if they deploy Spectrum to Tokyo over the northern summer.

    Wow , I just had a look. I suppose they have to pay for those new ships somehow.

    We all loose as there could have been Wonder of the seas in the equation and you are stuck with spectrum. The cruise terminal is now a quarantine station.

    Just keep an eye out for a special. I have a couple of cruises coming up and it’s down to $21. Black Friday is coming you might get a good price and always remember if it do pop up cheaper you can cancel and rebook it.

    I presume RC? If you tell them they will reprice it as a single and will be a similar price. If you don’t,even while boarding ,it won’t make any difference and you will receive taxes and gratuity of the second person as a OBC.

    I recon we could build a artificial reef just outside of Sydney heads for the recreational fishing. Wow bands ,Medallions straight over the side as we leave sydney.

    It looks like cruise lines including Royal Caribbean have given up on Hong Kong. Yesterday the central government reconfirmed strick Covid measures.( The most successful in the world) Hong Kong’s cruise terminal is now a Covid quarantine centre. https://www.ft.com/content/0b699c06-08f4-4922-9b50-73c20c196738 Lets see what happens with Tokyo.

    I believe all onboard activities can’t be booked before the cruise. There should be a booking desk in the promenade (Near boleros) to book everything or as soon as you get on the ship, or book it on the app. They have a charge now at sea .

    The first couple of nights the specialty restaurants are only half full at the best. You won’t have a problem changing it, just go to one of the restaurants . I found they usually give you a call in the cabin.

    Does Princess have something that is certified as being more pretentious as the other one?

    I have never had to stay near the airport but the way traffic is in Sydney,I would definitely stay the night if I had a flight before 9:am. But the airport surcharge is only $16 and you blokes are saying the airport hotel shuttle is $10. I think for a extra $8. ,I would rather stay near central, have good night in Chinatown and catch the train to the airport .

    Full moon on Tuesday, actually it’s a blood moon. Princess cruisers are getting into a fever about the medallion and just about anything else including taxi fares.

    I doubt Utopia will be heading to Asia/pacific as there’s limited LNG .

    It’s pretty unknown as a lot of us haven’t had much experience lately. But if you can get it before the cruise for a good price grab it and if it is cheaper later on ,just cancel it.

    So we are talking about a overnight and the big attraction is a night on the town. A tender in the dark with people that are boozed up ???

    You won’t have any problem with the taxis in Sydney,they have a better reputation that shuttle services. Taxi to darling harbour will be about $30 by taxi or Uber,it’s only about 20 minutes or less. There’a taxi rank just outside the terminal doors,there will be a bit of a line but just get in the line. We caught a Uber last time at white bay ,quite easy, he found us.

    I just counted 8 overnighters with Quantum and Ovation in port Vila this season and about the same with single day visits. Royal is determined to prove something with all that tendering of Quantum class.
