  1. Are you on on the 16th? If we tender to the regular cruise dock ,there’s going to be some unhappy sailors.
  2. Strange,Quantum goes there a lot. They must be sucking up to the Vanuatu government and laying some ground work. Vila is quite nice apart from that football scrum at the dock. Royal Caribbean would be better investing in a good dock where you can walk off into town that the private island of Lelepa. Or even buying that island Iririki I’m sure it could be bought for the right price.
  3. What about Majestic Princess, it’s about the size of Ovation and Quantum. Does it have anything to Vila ?
  4. That’s still $70 per meal and don’t forget you have already paid for food. I don’t know what kind of food you like but you should be able to get anything you desire complementary or a small upcharge. The main dining room can do off menu items ,a lobster,a big steak ??? You won’t starve.
  5. Well that’s the question ,where does it tender to ? I don’t know if there’s a place at the cruise wharf that’s low enough for the tenders. There’s a wharf near the casino in town that would be suitable. If it does go into town,it would be good. It would be a lot more convenient than the cruise wharf out the middle of nowhere.
  6. I don’t know? Here’s the itinerary from my agent.
  7. I was under the impression Quantum class could dock, but obviously not. If they do tender, hopefully they will tender to the wharf near the casino ,in town. Much nicer that the industrial port.
  8. There should be a couple of resident bands and a variety of invites. If you can’t get specialty dining for the right price, the solarium bistro is good. It’s mostly free but has a couple of upcharge items like lobster, lamb chops.
  9. I have been advised that Ovation can’t dock in Vila and will tender on a coming cruise. Has anyone heard about this ?
  10. I know it was sold,I believe RCG still advises them in some areas like health. But a W.A departure will probably depend on W.A. Health.
  11. That’s OK ,it will probably need the extra time going around the long way like Nancy did.
  12. It’s like trying to control the cougars uncle Les ,total submission is the easiest path .
  13. At the moment I believe so but if they enforce is another thing. Apparently Royal Caribbean and Celebrity at the moment are asking for a negative and vaccination certificate. I think Azamara is still associated with RCG.
  14. Just bring some self test kits ,we call them RAT ‘s . Do one the night before a take a photo with you phone.
  15. Have a look at searock . I don’t know if it’s what you want but quite good. Right on circular quay, you will walk past it.A bit pricey but that’s what get. https://searock.com.au
  16. And I like to see kids and adolescents having fun.
  17. they used to be all free but even at no charge I thought they where over hyped.
  18. I think you answered your own question. Its the difference between a city and a small country town. There a lot more variety, food ,entertainment ,activities. Especially for a family, something for the kids ,something for the adolescences ,adult and seniors.
  19. No , I was just chatting with someone in the line and they posted a photo. Next cruise in a couple of weeks. Hey, I have a spare bed in my cabin? First time going solo for me ,you could show me a few tricks with these cougars. I could show you the Royal Caribbean dark side ,LOL
