  1. Not sure which port you’re asking but in Dubrovnik it was Oceanic today in Kotor we have oceanic, Aida, another we saw on the way in and Star Clipper… which was also in Zadar. That’s an awesome boat. I’ll try to post a pic I took.
  2. We’re on board!! Came on in Ravenna. I’m not one to do pictures but I can help with questions. I can say since we were last on Serenade in late February 2023, it’s beautiful. So much has been updated, including we have a new toilet! That doesn’t seem like much but shows the level of upgrades that were made. Our cabin is perfect. Food quality is better than we’ve had lately and MUCH better than we had in that Feb cruise in 2023. The vibe on the ship is so relaxed. I love walking down the hall and seeing how so many decorated their cabin doors. Even though we had heard the ship is full, we hardly see people at all. So different than regular cruises. Very very quiet. it’s wonderful. We have a full port schedule until Barcelona when we get off ☹️…there’s only 1 sea day so even though we don’t have too many excursions (just enough), we’ll still getting off every day. Weather is perfect but warm.
  3. I wouldn’t argue with that….. and that includes doing a little better with the loyalty perks at courting those that aren’t Ps to move to X.
  4. Please please let us know. Thanks and enjoy your cruise!
  5. We were on Adventure 2 weeks ago also with Icon in Coco Cay and only noticed how many people had been there when they must have closed the island and a huge wave of people had to go back to both ships. I couldn’t believe how many there were, and of course many had already returned. So no, it won’t be crowded
  6. We shut the door whenever we came in, on both levels 17 and 18 on the way to the sun deck.
  7. Yes true, but there aren’t that many suites in that area to match how many were in the suite lounge most nights and also during the days in the lounge and sun deck on Wonder. We got to know many who were in suites. I’m not sure but did hear that only a certain amount could come in, but the doors were open all the time so really anyone could have walked in.
  8. You explained in detail the same reasons I think they did this move for Pinnacles. We were on wonder in a suite in January and we booked our CK dinner times before we boarded, but the lounge was filled with pinnacles every night and some nights we had nowhere to sit in the lounge at all and I did notice it and not like that either. We paid ALOT for our GS and didn’t like that we couldn’t get a seat.
  9. I have to stop reading this thread…. I had hoped that D+ would have gotten better benefits than we did…. Not that I’m a big drinker, but to go back from the 5 drinks a day of a large menu of choices, to a very limited drink menu for 2 hours only in certain bars, which is during the dinner hours like it was before, and 2 days of internet to 240 minutes isn’t worth it to me. Some of us are high points, but not yet pinnacle, so if they wanted us to move, they should have sweetened the deal a bit more. So it seems Royal ONLY wanted pinnacles to move and not any other level, otherwise they would have done more. I’m happy for you all, but a wee bit jealous. I wanted to start to move to X and we do have some booked, but I’m not giving up on Royal yet. They still have small ships sailing luckily.
  10. On Royal we get 2 days each. For each day we don’t log in until the early afternoon, which will give us the wifi until the next day at that same time. Why do you like celebrity’s way better? Can you make the 240 minutes last the whole cruise, I’m not sure I could 🤪
  11. we’re new Elite Plus too and I don’t understand how the 240 minutes work…. But I wanted to say on Royal being D+ we each get 2 days of free WiFi. I always buy the wifi package and DH uses his 2 days and then I go to the VOOM desk and they move my 2 free days to him. I don’t see why Celebrity can’t do that too.
  12. Since you decided that you plan to hang your flag anyway, against Royal’s rules, why did you bother to ask here? I’m curious why you feel it’s ok for you to do it anyway?
  13. I have said almost the exact same words as you so I agree 100%
  14. Yes and every ship seems to have a different menu, and when we went on Wonder it was the best ever! And it was delicious
  15. It worked for me, I was the one that questioned…..if you have the app on an iPad maybe it will work there? here’s how I did it… From the main menu for a cruise click the little person(upper right) then the next screen you should see a box on the left top of that page with your name and points, with an arrow next to ”More Details”. Click that, next screen choose “Loyalty Match” Does your app look like that?
  16. IMO they’re getting more and more like Carnival every day…and I mentioned this in my post cruise survey last week.
  17. We don’t give them the voucher, we buy what they prefer (water, soda, beer) and leave it in our cabin for them. We also buy snacks for them when we go ashore sometimes
  18. we routinely use leftover D drink vouchers for our room steward. Last cruise the bartender where we stopped would see us coming and know what to give us and where it was going.
  19. we had those same family of scavengers on Odyssey TA last year when the WJ surprised us by serving shrimp, scallops, and mussels for lunch one afternoon……the scavengers each filled their plates and looking at them, there was no way they would eat them all, tiny people….and that same group one morning when they served warm croissants took the WHOLE TRAY! I’m not kidding, I said something to the young lady while she walked away…I asked her if she couldn’t leave at least 1…
  20. We too love the stowaway pianist….i try to always have a couple of $$ for them.
  21. I wouldn’t assume that the charges will go away, even though they probably will…check in a few days to be sure they didn’t actually hit your card.
  22. Never thought of that! That’s what DH will do now. Thanks for the idea!
