  1. I bought a small new adapter that has the USB-C outlets that we use for our IPADs, which replaces our older one with the regular USB. we also have a converter that we use and may use for DHs CPAP on Serenade. Unless he finds a small converter for next to the bed.
  2. The food in both the WJ and MDR is nowhere near as tasty or healthy as what I make at home!! Maybe I’m a picky eater because I prefer my food to be cooked properly, to be WARM, not loaded with salt, and tasty enough that it doesn’t need to be covered in some sort-of gravy to mask whatever it really is. Regardless, we still cruise because I love the ocean. Ad an added bonus is I don’t gain weight.
  3. I’ll be following along as we’re on 2 legs of the world cruise and were also on the same cruise as you in February and hope things are better than they were then. Im hoping the chillers really “chill” and DH would Like an outlet next to the bed or near the bed for his CPAP that not a European plug. enjoy!!
  4. Are there only European plugs? DH said his CPAP can’t use that unless he has a converter.
  5. It’s ok we’ve been on many cruises with this menu so I’m kind of used to it. I always ask for more veggies too. The plus is I dont gain as much 😁
  6. I saw that video and am crossing my fingers they bring back the classics as well as more vegetarian items. So far on our B2B on Odyssey many nights I’ve only eaten appetizers for dinner. No entrees.
  7. So you pre-booked online 1 specialty dinner for each of you and when you got there for dinner you told them you’re using the BOGO and they accepted it? In other words they were only expecting 1 person to show up and two came instead? Did you only choose days 1 and 2 or further out? Have all ships accepted this? We’re currently on Odyssey and I tried to use our BOGO for lunch at Giovanni’s and no matter how hard I pushed they wouldn’t budge. He kept saying why wouldn’t I want dinner instead and I said it’s too late for me to eat that much. Other ships we had no issue doing that. I wish it was more consistent across the fleet.
  8. The voucher is added to your card. That’s how they did it on our cruise. Not all cruises need this but we’re top heavy and one quirky coffee machine isn’t enough
  9. From what I was told in Cafe 270, it’s restricted to cappuccinos and lattes without any syrup or flavorings. Same as you would get in the lounge. An odd thing in Cafe 270 yesterday I was told by the guy making it that because I’m D+ over 340 I can get the big cup. I thought that was odd.
  10. We’re currently on the Odyssey TA and we are very Top Heavy with Ds and D+. Well over 800 of each (will learn the exact amt at the Top Tier event)as well as almost 300 P but I haven’t heard anything about Ds being restricted during the HH. We don’t go in there then because it’s too crowded. The coffee machine situation is another story. And it’s still called Diamond Lounge. Hasn’t been changed. I figure that will change when it gets back to Florida. EDIT to add that we each got 1 coffee added to our daily allotment of drinks because you can’t get near the machine when it works to get coffee. But it’s not easy to get on this ship. But we’re managing. 😁
  11. on our last couple of cruises we noticed they had carts that fit in the doorway of the cabin, so they weren’t blocking the hall at all. I thought that’s a great idea because it would also keep others from walking in the room and potentially taking things that passengers left out.
  12. On our last cruise my air tag first was showing the luggage sitting at the port….then later it showed it was sitting in the water.. I knew it was on the ship then.
  13. I turned that feature off. I don’t routinely want my air tag that’s at home sending me a reminder that I’ve left it there every time I go out……I do however keep it turned on for my Apple Watch and if I leave my phone at home my watch lets me know..
  14. I wasn’t sure if it was just that day in Labadee. I don’t see that at Coco Cay.
  15. PC did have the Checkin last time we were there, not tablets
  16. we usually go get the cards as soon as the rooms open. We have had the wrong cards delivered to us more than once, so we get them as soon as we can. When we received the wrong cards, I brought them to GS.
  17. They worked for us. I had one in each suitcase.
  18. if you don’t want to hang on the beach or do the couple of $$ things like zip, then IMO stay on the ship. The one time we were in a GS and allowed on that beach, the food was the same stuff that’s on the other beaches, and it’s not good. Again, my opinion. I had been told we would get upgraded food, we didn’t that time. The food had flies buzzing around and landing on the burgers, salad and everything else that wasn’t in a sealed container. We do like the beach but don’t eat there anymore. We stay in the morning and leave at lunchtime and eat in WJ.
  19. Funny I always thought wifi was not available on the island….coco cay yes, Labadee no
  20. no option for us, we sail 1 week from today. They changed the ports and that’s the least of our concern. Our hearts are broken for the people of Israel.
