  1. I put a timer on my phone and it was just over 35 minutes
  2. We really like the shows on Wonder…. edit to add, I don’t want to tell you why because I don’t want to spoil it
  3. I didn’t know how to add the ride from the house to the airport, I see you have to book the higher price train ride for that, but paying the higher price includes the house pickup or was there an additional cost??
  4. Since you live in our general area, I’m curious how this will work and what will be the ultimate cost and time involved. Please post in this group, I’m very interested that they will send anUber and ultimately how long it will take from your house to Miami in hours.
  5. Same, we’re south of OIA and it takes almost 40 min to get there and about an a hour twenty to get to PC from our house…..so we drive. BUT our Odyssey TA next month will drop us off at FLL, so we’re taking an Amtrak to Winter Haven, then Uber home. We thought about renting a car, but this is less of a hassle.
  6. We are extremely lucky that we’re retired so we can cruise when ships aren’t as crowded. We don’t usually cruise in the summer, it’s just so darn hot…same reason we don’t go to Disney much then either….although going Monday to see the new Moana exhibit and riding Soarin over California again!
  7. We cruised Wonder last year in a grand suite. Originally we were booked on Harmony, but they changed the ship and we weren’t complaining since it was a brand new ship😁 We don’t routinely book GS but loved the “Suite Neighborhood “. We found we mostly only went down for the shows, maybe evening pizza, or a walk down the promanade. You may like it in the suite area.

  9. where did you buy that? Battery operated?
  10. We’re also right between both Pt Canaveral and Tampa ports. We really like cruising from Tampa because it’s more laidback and not as crowded and easier for us to get to traffic wise….but I totally agree about the bridge being too low. BUT we do love Radiance class ships, just not the limited itineraries mostly to western Caribbean. How fortunate for us that these issues are such little things some people would love to have,😁
  11. I have not yet had a cabin attendant that was around long enough for me to remember their name…..BUT I not only have remembered bar server’s names, but I’m also friends with them on that other social place 😉
  12. yes Disney cruises are more expensive, and to be honest we haven’t even on one for a few years…BUT IMO they are definitely more upscale and the food was way better. But to answer your question, YES it can be a drinking party. Years ago (I don’t know if this is still allowed) you could bring beer onboard (and maybe wine too) Our friends brought an entire suitcase of beer for a 4 night cruise. They seemed to be having more fun than us 🤪
  13. Same….I’ve been known to put towels to block the light. I’ve also used a few cruise compass in the light on Oasis to dull the brightness….I use my hands to navigate, plus our travel charger has a teeny tiny light that shows it’s on and that’s enough for us.
  14. I never drank a lot and DH only got the package once many years ago before we were Diamond and before I had to get the package too. He didn’t feel it was worth it, he didn’t drink enough for it to pay to get it again. Now we’re Diamond + and I never drink all 5, especially when we’re on long cruises. I dont want that much alcohol in my liver either… if I can’t use them towards the end of the cruise, I get things for the room steward 😁.
  15. I’m sure that’s true…..but possibly because this was a New Years cruise and at the time there was a thing going on in the centrum and this was the bar that’s there, and it was the last night of the cruise, all he did was slow them down. I don’t agree with anyone doing that, so I didn’t comment how I felt with what they were doing, but it shows me their integrity level.
  16. For our upcoming October cruises in Europe, we checked in at midnight ships time, which was 6pm here EST. Just did this for 2 cruises. Our app had showed the earlier date, but online showed the next day. I hope this makes sense……but it seems the Checkin time thru the app was based on the ships time, which you can see top left in the app.
  17. I wish we could eliminate the word “blame” from our vocabulary. I cringe every time I hear it.
  18. No rule, but we were cruising last NYE and our friend that had the package was sharing with our other friend…..right at the bar, trying to hide it, but they were slowed down somehow, but they didn’t elaborate. They told me this while they were still sitting at the bar!
  19. Oldest - Sovereign of the seas, this was our first cruise Newest - Wonder (until we go on Utopia and Icon next year) Favorite - Radiance class ships - they can go places the big ships can’t
  20. I would do the Adventure. It’s a newer ship than Enchantment. And I wouldn’t cruise from Baltimore in the winter just in case of bad weather. Florida in February is perfect weather. EDIT to add: the Adventure is also a shorter cruise which may be better in case anyone doesn’t like cruising after all.
  21. I tell them as well as check our accounts when we both order a drink, because sometimes they charge one card for the two drinks. And although they say that you’ll sign for the drink and see your balance on the receipt , we have only had to sign a few times, so we keep track.
  22. Were you on the Voyager last September on the Arctic Crossing? Because when we went thru Prins Christin Sund a lady was telling us all about what we were seeing. It was so interesting. they had her on the big TV on the top deck so we could hear her and still get to be outside to see the beauty.
  23. I’m not surprised at the way their whole site is programmed. Things like this make no sense. Thanks Ken.
