Check cruisemapper.com website.  You can pull up Santorini (well, any port, really), and call up a Schedule.  IT lists what ships will be in the port on which days.  See if you will be there in the thick of things.  That might help your planning.

We got lucky and we were the only ship in port the day we were there (later October).  Which was fortunate, since DH just HAD to find some fig gelato, which made us run a bit late.  We WERE planning on walking down the steps, but we were too tight on time. Fortunately, with only one ship in port, the cable cars had no line and we just hopped on. 

Second to last ones in the line for the last ship's tender.  DH said "See? I told you we would make it!"

Memorial plaque in one of the squares in Maastricht.  We travel with a group of friends and take pics with our feet in them when we come across these ground plaque deals.  Yes, we are weird.

Tulips in the Keukenhof Gardens main greenhouse.  We were there a little too early for the fields to be in bloom.  We were there on opening day, March 23.  It rained most of the morning, but we didn't get there until about 2 PM.  Sun came out!

The bar on Viking Kvasdir.  Excellent liquor selection, and even better bartenders!!
