It could be any balcony, if you "win" the upgrade, not just those cabins designated "solo balconies." I'm currently in that situation waiting to see if bid for balcony from solo inside on Getaway works out. Good luck! No clue on how the MC points work as I've not used them for a cabin upgrade.

Did you happen to notice any carts going back & forth for those who might need a little help? Someone on another thread mentioned a locker near the lazy river area for one's valuables. Did you happen to use that? Is there a charge? Bring change? Enjoy your next adventure!

Did this tour just after cruise reopening. We were taken to an open air restaurant/shop where a very nice couple explains points about rum and there are chances for sampling. A plate of food with a chicken leg, johnnycake, and maybe potato salad or some kind of accompaniment was included. It was an enjoyable shorex (through NCL) for those not looking for the beach.

A couple of yrs ago did the "A Taste of Antigua" tour. A nice couple runs a little open air restaurant which will be the spot for rum tastings and a small meal. As I recall, some johnnycake, piece of chicken, some accompaniments (maybe potato salad). It was enjoyable and with the shorex credit and latitudes discount, was a decent price (at least at that time - tours have all gone up so much!)

Nice comments. Where at Jost did you snorkel? Some have reported that with all the boats out it was not easy to even find places to swim. So wondering where the reef is or is it rocks like at Norman Island? Lots of sharks at Little Cayman, Turks & Caicos, San Salvador Bahamas but not in the regular Caribbean ports. Bonaire has great diving & snorkeling but very rarely a shark. When I see a few sharks snorkeling I normally hightail it back to the boat!

Re: Prima Zafer Dal is on vacation. I think he returns sometime in Nov. Maybe Marc S. is back as GM. Sorry haven't been on since last yr so don't know the whole roster.

No discount offers at all for my husband and me. Not based on Latitudes status as we are Sapphire and Diamond, respectively. We didn't get the Alaska/Eur ones that many others received, either! The only one we've ever gotten was 10 pct off Escape April 16-23, 2023. Had to be that week and that ship. The ones mentioned here are much more fluid and useable. Would love to get one!

Good point. Maybe new projects of some sort, not sure. But Martin I. isn't GM on Prima or another ship and has taken a different position. Have never sailed with Nelson but there will be Viva GM Nelson. Looking forward.

Hasn't Martin Ivanov moved to new builds now? Recently Marc S. assumed the GM role on Prima. Great news that Zafer Dal will also be joining Prima soon!

There are 3 MDR lunch menus and none of them have the French dip. But there are many really good items so hopefully your wife will find some good choices. MDR open for lunch on sea days so depending how many your sailing has, you may see a couple of those menus. Haven lunch has French dips.

Probably new one posted where family had not cruised in a few years and did no advance bookings for shows or restaurants so had a difficult time with that. 5200 guests onboard. Still what OP needs to keep in mind is they also highly complimented crew and service and said they had an "amazing" time. GG, enjoying Bliss review!

Made me chuckle but hope you had a great meal there. Was on Escape twice last year in Eur. and transatlantics and simply loved the team onboard. Twice to Bayamo. Apps are the best between the ahi tuna, scallops on pork belly, blazing shrimp. Oh my! Love that place. Sorry to hear of all the travel delays and frustrations but now you're onboard and can relax! Thanks so much for taking us along!

As cruise is not till end of year, all I have right now is the Vacation Summary which doesn't list any codes. Maybe a nice surprise, lol! All the other codes make sense. Thanks for keeping this thread alive. Very helpful!

When I got this type of plate, room service said it was for the club balcony suite where some type of "amenity" is offered a couple of times a week. I think they sent strawberries as well. Since it was an "upgrade bid" I wasn't sure what exactly came with the cabin. Didn't come with a signed card like other "treats". Good luck in the casino, Bird!

Hi Bird, Loving your review with all the info & menus as they stand today (I noticed the absence of any Pinot Grigio on comp menu, for example). Obviously food is subjective but what have been your favorites so far? Sounds like GM Deepak and team are showing their appreciation for Bird's years of loyalty and being a repeat guest on Encore.
