  1. Protocols evolving even more so now for European Cruises. GUEST ADVISORY VACCINATION AND TESTING REQUIREMENTS UPDATE CARNIVAL PRIDE & CARNIVAL CELEBRATION EUROPEAN DEPARTURES - 2022 August 23, 2022 Dear Carnival Guest, We know you are looking forward to your European sailing and want to update you on vaccination and testing requirements specific to your cruise, as follows: As our protocols continue to evolve, boosters are encouraged but no longer required for guests who are eligible. All Cruises (excluding itineraries with Greece and Spain): All unvaccinated guests, age 5 and older, must provide the negative result of a lab-administered or supervised (by a medical professional), self-administered PCR or antigen COVID test taken up to 3 days before embarkation. Cruises Visiting Greece: All guests, 5 years and older, must present the negative results of a PCR test taken within 3 days before sailing or an antigen test within 2 days before sailing. Vaccinated guests who are eligible for a booster but not boosted are considered unvaccinated and will be subject to additional testing on board which will be provided on a complimentary basis. Due to destination requirements, a document of recovery will not be acceptable for cruises visiting Greece. If a self-test is not supervised by a medical professional, it is not acceptable for travel to Greece. Cruises Visiting Spain: All unvaccinated guests, 12 years and older, need to present the negative results of a PCR test taken within 3 days before sailing or an antigen test within 2 days of sailing. If a self-test is not supervised by a medical professional, it is not acceptable for travel to Spain. We are currently working on updating our Have Fun. Be Safe. COVID-19 protocols webpage but wanted to share this information with you as soon as possible. We look forward to welcoming you on board your Carnival cruise vacation shortly. Sincerely, Colleen Oliverio VP, Guest Services - Contact Centers
  2. Saw a person win 2500 on the key game but not on the claw game
  3. Hours (time/activity may vary based on cruise itinerary) Children under the age of 2 are welcome to join Camp Ocean programming and Night Owls during specific times. Hours may vary due to cruise itineraries. Once on board, activity schedules for Camp Ocean are available via the HUB App as well as drop off times for children under 2. During some cruises, Camp Ocean capacity may be limited. Sea Days There are limited times throughout the cruise for โ€˜Under 2' time. During these times, parents/guardians have the option of leaving their child in the care of the Youth Staff (fees apply: $7.50 USD per hour plus an 18% service charge, per child) โ€“ or - they can stay and use the camp facility at no charge. This time is designated for the use of 'Under 2โ€™s' and parents/guardians only. Check on board for specific times offered. Hours may vary due to cruise itineraries. Port Days While in port, parents/guardians have the option of leaving their child in the care of the Youth Staff (fees apply: $7.50 USD per hour plus an 18% service charge, per child), however, we do not provide care during meal times for children 'Under 2'; parents/guardians must return from port at this time.
  4. It must still be a proctored test. Testing is now even less expensive not more expensive given the ability to use any free test and get it proctored by On Point for 15.00 dollars. Its also easier not harder as you can do it online from anywhere such as your hotel room.
  5. Didnt read that in the article is this in reference to some other thing you heard or saw?
  6. Looks like booster is still required for my Celebration TA in November according to the Website.
  7. I have also used the printed copy when asked for vaccination proof while going through US Customs at the Airport.
  8. I use the same as @d9704011 thats your proof of vaccination for travel. I have it saved on my phone to use for uploading to ArriveCan and Verifly and i print out a copy which ive shown to Carnival at check-in and they have accepted no issues.
  9. I think you missed MY point. Im totally onboard that its BS but dont order mashed potatoes and then complain when you get mashed potatoes. Dont book a flight knowing you have to wear a mask and then get upset when your in the air that you have to wear a mask and especially dont book a Cruise that has a stop in Canada for 4 hours that you gotta use ArriveCan and Test for and then get upset that you gotta use ArriveCan and Test for that one stop of 4 hours in Canada.
  10. Wonder if they will change the booster requirement for our 14 day TA now that they have changed the testing requirement?
  11. yes i see that my point is if they say they are "removing the vaccination requirement" then there would be no need to "provide proof of vaccination".
  12. The announcement doesnt make sense. SANTA CLARITA, Calif., Aug. 12, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Princess Cruises today announced updated COVID-19 protocols and guidelines, removing the vaccine requirement for most voyages of less than 16 days so that anyone can cruise, and adjusting pre-travel testing requirements to make it less complicated. Starting Sept. 6, vaccinated guests sailing on voyages of less than 16 days will no longer have to test before boarding and only need to upload proof of vaccination while getting OceanReady. Unvaccinated guests, or those who do not provide proof of vaccination, on those itineraries will self-test within three days of sailing and upload proof of a negative test before boarding. If the Vaccine requirement is removed so anyone can sail why the need to upload proof of vaccination????
  13. It has different food options i know that.
  14. Really? I just went ot my pharmacist and asked for a test kit and they gave me three boxes. I thought it would actually be easier now that you can use the free test kits and set up an appt to be proctored online??
  15. Who knew that no filet would be the downfall of civilization as we knew it.....๐Ÿคจ
  16. must be a glitch. it asked me to put in my email address, then sent the verification code which i entered and i was in.
  17. i think so either the Celebration TA or the Legend Greenland one or the other cant remember lol.
  18. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying its not disappointing (What isn't these days?) but its nowhere near the issue people are making it out to be IMO. Compared to flying right now Cruising is a snap. I have to watch my booked flights on a daily basis to keep up sometimes with the changes. Getting a test these days is easy and very inexpensive compared to figuring out how to fly from A to B without going through C,D,E,F,G and occasionally H now.
