    I submitted all of my 2024 cruises in September.

    Unfortunately, they have changed the design. The new ones don't seem to hold as much as the old ones. Not fond of the new design.

    You can't make a bad choice out of those. I love the Mardi Gras for kids. So much to do and eat. We are booked in July. For a solo cruise, the Vista is my favorite followed by the Horizon. Magic is my least favorite. I am a mega ship fan.

    Absolutely, I buy a $500 from AARP and immediately put it towards my balance. Saved $600 so far on the family vacation.

    I would maybe consider the umbrella if they set it up. No way if I have to drag it down the beach and set it up myself.

    I did the VIP the Solstice in September. Worth every penny. Free drinks and the lunch was outstanding. We were pampered all day. They only take 14 people and we had a private guide. The soft, comfortable chairs were outstanding. We have also don the round trip and it was wonderful. The VIP is over the top, worth it.

    The umbrellas are not the clam shells, they are umbrellas you pick up and take to wherever you want.

    I booked a solo stateroom on the POA yesterday. There are solo cabin in inside, oceanview, and balcony. All have access to the solo lounge. I got a good deal and was offered the deal on airfare.

    I am booked on the POA in 2025. I am going onto the ship with the attitude of it being a floating hotel. No expectations. I am happy to see multiple islands. A day at sea is better than a day at work.

    I got some great deals on NCL and Celebrity for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. At least 45% off drink packages and excursions. I have two Carnival cruises booked next year, and I was really hoping to get some sales on those also.But there is nothing. Even the base price is higher than what I paid.

    On the website it asks if you want to use multiple credit cards. So, yes you can.

    I booked a traditional balcony for family members on the Mardi Gras. The grandkids would love the family harbor area, but they really want a balcony cabin. I am afraid they will have choose one or the other.

    I get a funship special and a Guy's Burger first thing every cruise. Order a funahip special at any bar or from any roving waiter. They are delicious.

    Just have him no show. That way #1 has no extra charges.

    Through the end of the year Virgin will match any cruise line status.

    Select dining means show up when you are hungry. You can always cancel the reservation and go later if you find you are not hungry at that time. I never waited more than five minutes for a table, but larger parties may wait a bit longer.

    Lol, I once watched the Poseidon Adventure on a ship. What is wrong with me 🙂

    Drop your carry-ons in your cabin when you board and there will be a notice in your cabin where the lunch is held. The butternut squash soup is delicious, and the short ribs are tasty. They do have a caesar salad, but I have not tried it.

    When did that change? I have booked Royal cruises on a Celebrity ship in the past. I was planning on booking another when on the solstice next week.

    Celebrity does not assign times. Choose the time you want from the list available. Generally, they start about 10:30 and go through 2:30 in 30-minute increments.

    On the app, change the date to the current sailing.
