For how much I've lost on CCL I could have bought drink packages for my entire deck.

Sailing Princess for the first time in December. How can I obtain chips to gamble on the table games? USD ok? Charge to room (with service charge?)? Is there a players club I should sign up for beforehand? Thanks!

Just to explain why I am asking... I have no idea about Princess or their ships other than some recommendations. I've heard that HAL's quality has taken a nose dive over the last few years. Hoping Princess has not.

I really enjoy Lido lunch on the first day. Head right to our cabin, drop things off, then off to the Lido for lunch and my favorite: the HAL bread pudding. During lunch we discuss sail away plans.

Progress. In possibly related news, I received a mail promotion from HAL this week that did not contain any language concerning covid vaccine requirement. Previously, information concerning vaccine requirements was included as a footnote in all HAL promotional material.

I couldn't help but notice that you survived. That's good. Think back to 2018 and reimagine your post but instead of COVID it was norovirus - a serious illness that is common on ships. Would you have written the same post?

Correct. Cruise lines are going to have to decide whether they want to have passengers or close up shop and call it. CCL stock trading below $10 today...
