My son turns 35 this year and he loves classic rock. The year before Covid he wound up ordering us tickets to see the Doobie Brothers and Santana. (Great concert btw!) And I've been to quite a few other classic rock concerts with him.

Specialty Restaurants - Entitlements and Extra Reservations

We booked Sapphire on our first two cruises but have decided for our third cruise to book the Aquamarine. With the money we save we figure we can eat in Umi Uma a lot more times since the cocktail parties in the rooms, ordering from the specialty restaurants and unlimited meals in the specialties are no longer a perk. The Aquamarine cabin is certainly large enough and luxurious enough. -

I remember being on another cruise line that you and Ray were on too. You kept talking up Crystal. 4 years later we finally tried Crystal and haven't looked back. That other cruise line was/is very good but it just is not Crystal. Even with their newer ships, etc. -
We head to Paris first and will meet you on Serenity. 😄

We were supposed to do the cruise to the Hawaiian islands rt from CA. I know that's a trip many have done but we haven't and I'd love to see that back on the schedule too. Ivi, I was hoping that C would have an intensive Japan cruise but since they don't we booked on another line. 😞

Also bitob: No idea I get free laundry on SS because I book a Silver Suite. I have not done a formal analysis of laundry facilities on ships as others appear to have done. No comment from me needed.

And the instructions were in German! And regarding going all inclusive and raising prices, recently SS started including tours. Fares went up and the tours went down. More like mass market lines now. In fact the only tour that was excellent on SS was the one we had to pay over $150 additional pp.

We were happy there was a rabbi onboard when we sailed during Passover and Hanukkah. And the room was filled for both.

There is also one bag of laundry in Sapphire every 10 days.

We are booked on Serenity this August, Symphony this September and Serenity again in January. The first 2 cruises are port intensive with some new ports for us and the third cruise is 16 days with 8 sea days. Pure heaven!

Help me understand. I think maybe I misunderstood your wording? Did you not book a cruise on Crystal because the Crystal PH was sold out and you didn't like the name of the Jr Crystal PH?
