  1. I'm vegetarian not vegan so, yes, I eat dairy and cheese. I'm not a pescatarian so I don't eat fish > starters: vegetable terrine (looks like ratatouille) & ginger-carrot-coconut soup > main dish: onion vegetable tart & goat cheese souffle
  2. That looks SO GOOD!! I have 2 starter and 2 main dish options!! Vegetarians finally get recognized. Tired of only 1 choice
  3. I thought it also said 15 specialty coffees. Now it says: "specified number of specialty coffees (numbers vary by itinerary)"
  4. Respectfully disagree as it could be traded for the minibar in December 2022 + it previously stated '15 specialty coffees'. Now it states # determined by itinerary. Also new t&c omits any reference to tea, which was there last week. Also states varies by ship. But will know Saturday
  5. @Sea Hag I finally found it, read it, still wondering but looks like its ok. No tea so will figure it out for me personally 2 changes on the coffee pkg t&c: # of specialty coffees & price varies based on voyage. Also cannot trade minibar for it. So the pkg is still offered. Still wonder what I can trade minibar for.
  6. They are but for those of us that do not drink any or very little alcohol & avoid sugary pop this used to be a viable option. @Shelly97060 how many specialty coffees are included? Site states price varies so how long is your cruise?
  7. I found it but not a price. Can you see a price on your computer?? Often / usually Droid & computer differ. Really interested as my next cruise has only 2 Sea days. With how (un)reliable wifi is I'm not sure I even need it! The cruise after that has 2 blocks of 6 sea days. Might need wifi there.
  8. Oops. 39.99 a day. For 2 lattes & 1 tea. I can't find a price for the Sea Hag references
  9. They didn't tell my CVP yesterday that i couldn't trade for it on my next 3 voyages (Royal & Emerald). But the coffee pkg is now 52 a day as Princess added a lot of sugar drinks.
  10. Marketing ... waiting to see what Brad can trade his mini-bar for on Saturday. Then to see if I can buy pre-cruise or onboard with OBC
  11. Ok they've almost convinced me to try Princess Plus to Hawaii as I will have 2 long sea times (6 days between ports). And they've eliminated the coffee pkg. When I price it out its only $27.50 more now. But then it states drinks only up to $15. If I choose to have 1, how much is a regular glass of rose or a mimosa? And no. I don't do fitness classes here / those extra desserts are too processed sugar laden for me / do I get the medallion mailed (not a biggee)?
  12. I suspect that the intent is to encourage everyone to buy Plus .... then eliminate standard and downgrade all. Right now: Wifi 7.50 - 15 Tips 16 Coffee 4 Tea. 2 Water 1.50 day based on dz precruise So 31 - 38.50 A la carte savings drops to $21.50. Basically the cost of 1 glass wine.
  13. As long as bean counters are reading ... the preferable alternative is to buy coffee / tea individually at IC if I can't get / buy a coffee-only pkg under $50 for the duration of the voyage (not per day) and DIY another shore excursion. I have a budget ...
  14. As long as i could buy or trade for a coffee card it never crossed my mind. Now that that 'may or probably' has been eliminated, I'm seriously considering it. I'm rather ordinary ... simple well brewed coffee with cream (I ask for it and definitely can tell the difference) or steeped tea both w/o sugar or just plain water are my go-tos. Packages loaded (overloaded) with processed sugar are IMHO yucky
  15. Can I use my own cup onboard? More specifically, if I bring my own mug into MDR when going for breakfast can I use it instead of those TINY 4 oz cups they use?? I 9ften feel like asking them to just leave the carafe but this could be a good workaround
  16. That's what I do!! My CVP maneuvers somehow because she gets me same room, lifts & shifts flights to keep same price, moves over excursions ..... but I have to resubmit for shareholder benefit @olsens5 stated: 'there seems to be no reason to book early' I want particular rooms so I have every reason to book as soon as I'm sure ... until then I just save it.
  17. It's not the cost, it's the devaluing. Maybe Virgin Cruises personally & Carnival for family.
  18. I had 5 over for dinner Saturday night, 1 bottle wine, 1/4 bottle leftover. 2 pots coffee LOL I will know soon if I can buy it separately.
  19. At some point we must all decide, individually and for ourselves, if this line is worth it for us. I ass-u-me it will continue to be worth it for those who drink alcohol & buy packages, but personally I'm glad I'm out of FCD. Almost every perk that meant something for me (wifi, coffee, loyalty OBC) is being eroded. Am I left with just free laundry? At what point do I acknowledge that the bean counters have won?? 50 cruises on Princess, am I done?
  20. I place my order at 8am on sea days & get a selection of sandwiches, sweets, scones, cream, jam, and my choice of tea. As I am a vegetarian solo my selection is more restricted but still 4-5 trays but just a few items on each. This is what I 'accepted' in the room & combined everything I accepted onto 1 plate. After this voyage I specified 2-3 scones, 2 sweets, 2 sandwiches, large tea. It arrives around 3pm. No charge other than a tip Looked for the December 2022 pic, it had handmade pralines added, but you're just going to have to take my word for it ~~~
  21. Please post. TIA Will do. He's trading his too.
  22. Thanks. A friend, HQE, is getting on Saturday & will text me what I can trade for. Anticipate taking all meals in MDR & Gigis
  23. Please ask what I can trade the minibar for Also: if I can only trade for water can I cancel my water bottle purchase?? I don't drink hard alcohol or soda.
